Anyways this guy's is a criminal IMO. Nothing proven yet but almost everybody said he was responsible for his GF Tunisha (She acted in a few shows, Chakravartin Ashok Samrat , Internet wala Love and I think fitoor movie too) Suicide. I think he was even jailed for sometimes for this but as it is these things can't be proven unless there is a written or video evidence.

Rating system will always be there for mainstream television (for every country) because that's how viewership is measured which determines the success of a show.

What needs to change in ITV is its daily format, or at least come up with finite shows. We may cuss writers as much as we want, but the truth is one cannot bring creativity and tight knitted stories if write daily that too for a long time. They have to add all drama, toxicity and many useless things to drag the episodes for a show to run.
