I'm not aware cause my family do not practice such stuff....but I've heard other cases from interior parts of TN , AP and Kerala but that was like 5 or 6 years ago and i thought that it has reduced but seems like it hasn't cause they're still making shows about it in 2024

That show was good for the first 50 episodes then turned into crap and ran for 100 more episodes and KUDCA forum members started calling the show as GUDCA cause they joked that the writers took godca before writting the episodes

A neo-noir thriller...it is available on YouTube. You can watch it..I don't know about you but I really liked it.

Ohh in my village there was a newly wed who was troubled, after her marriage the groom's family started taunting her for the less amount of dowry she had brought..We all thought that they are just mean & narrow minded.

But suddenly she died leaving a 1 year kid behind...

Groom is remarried now & apparantly he is happy with the dowry this time...

Dowry is a reality in India, Haan in urban they call it gift but in rural it is still the most important talk before marriage...

At my place dowry is not even a thing and even if it is , they call it a gift

Omg this is so horrible

But this show is not about a family in rural area and the promo showcases an hefty dowry
