To be honest I actually feel that if historical, Bheeshm could really have been a master mind in Mahabharata

By the way I don't get the position of DB in Mahajan group.

Bheeshm was not the king, he was kind of an advisor to king legally. The importance he held was because of his position in their family.

Here it seems DB also holds some legal position in the group. He (and not Dhanraj) was heading the meeting of board of directors yesterday. He hasn't willingly let go his position to someone else Here. He rather is the head

As i said in one of my comment earlier that vanshaj's character are not exact cut out of Mahabharata, they all are mish-mash of character traits. Here DB more represents bheesma whereas dhanraj is more of dritrashtra.

However DB is metaphor of traditionalism and fairness. He also think that a man should be heir but also has to be capable of running the business.

May be prem also is not his real son and adopted one .

Bold; the visuals were so good , wish they put same ammount of effort with the CGI work in the episodes as well....some of the cgi work looked cartoonish ; like in one of the war episodes Gandhari is talking to someone and in the background smoke is billowing from the streets afar and it looked like the screen was painted with water colours , the smoke stayed in the same place even after 5 mins
