The twists and climax for your double updates but nothing like this.
We should have expected the unexpected... ๐Ÿ˜†

Shathir, due credit to you though because you came up with the most unlikely scenario and at the moment, I find your proposal a helluva lot more preferable to what happened . . . ๐Ÿ˜†

To be honest I don't care whether you watch the update as long as you mark your presence here. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜†

Aawwhh, how sweet . . . ๐Ÿ˜†

The "innum" is there because I'm contemplating reading updates all week then doing a 5 episode marathon watching session before my turn to update on Saturday . . . ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi all, I have been a silent member here for few weeks. Love how you guys always respect each other's opinion. Been watching Vani Rani since Rani left Vani's house. A fan of the serial and their characterization.

Hi Crystal, welcome. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Please don't be a silent member. We all are a bunch of whackos, especially Shathir and Shree (ThangamPlus and incorrigible) ๐Ÿคช ๐Ÿ˜† So feel free to participate,

But I have to vent out, yesterday was disappointing. This is totally my opinion, not trying to offend anyone. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Fair enough and of course not. Difference in opinion invites healthy discussion here.๐Ÿ˜Š

I know the popular opinion here is that Sara is a coward and weak character. I totally agree. But what made me love the Poo-Sara story and cheer for them is that they are the total opposite of each other. That was what made the story enjoyable to me. They were contrasts - Sara is a coward, but Poo was always portrayed to seem to have the courage to stand up for both of them. And yes, I love both Sara and Poo. Still feel they are made for each other. If Poo says she loves Sara, that means including his weaknesses. I would think so. Not that he changed overnight.

I agree. If you had read one of my opinions, this is exactly what I said - I loved the pair because of the contrasts in their characters - Sara, serious, hardworking, quiet - Poongodi, mischievous, bold, cheerful.

He tried to be strong by hiding his love. (not a fan that he physically pushed her out of his house, will name it as intense drama to make myself feel better๐Ÿ˜†) Failed miserably and broke down when he told her he does love her, but has family issues. Personally, I liked his reasoning. Maybe Swami is turning grey, but he still is his father and Poo's family is a nightmare with respect to insulting his family.

Again, I see where you are coming from but personally I felt he was lying and treating everyone who pointed that out to him shabbily. He had a nasty mouth and was saying vicious and insulting. We could take only so much. After a point, he was an arrogant idiot. Like Poo said, he could have told the truth and asked her to wait.

So my take was that after hearing his story, Poo realized that he will be at peace only if she leaves and marries Karthick. So she left taking that decision. Awesome till then. And her conversation with Sara/herself in her bedroom was bang on. She was still expecting Sara to come and get her before the marriage at that point. Then what changed her mind? Her dad? She never cared for anyone other than her love till then. Not understanding that and not convinced.

She said she changed her mind because Sara told her that if her love for him is true, she should marry Karthik. Not convinced by that either.

If they wanted Poo-Karthick to be married and take the story that way, they should not have created the whole kalyana mandapam drama, with Sara agreeing, Vani/Rani communicating the same and then Poo refusing. That just spoiled it for me. Poo still says she did this for Sara๐Ÿ˜• Even after she was told that it is not the case by Vani/Rani..That seemed out of place and out of character to me.

Yes, precisely...but like one of the co-directors told me yesterday, things do not happen the way we want, Which is true.

Ok. Done with my polambals. Sorry, it is long. But had to get that out.

No worries. Long posts are common here - especially mine. ๐Ÿ˜†

Ravi, I second Shree..how did you possess the guts to watch the episode twice..Still I am unable to get out of the irritating dialogues..Anaconda wanted to go to tiruchendur, Jyoti enacting drama, Mano claiming himself to be kaiyalagadhavan, Balu conversation on Poo's pregnancy in the near future, Karthik's honey moon plan..I wish I dont hear these dialogues again..But as Karthi stated in her reviews, I really felt sorry for Sara, and the damn selfish people did not feel the unhappiness in Poo's face and it was such a genius touch to show Sara crying in the midst of crowd alone and Poo standing by side in the manavarai crying alone..Good to show how true love has caused pain in the two..

I watched it twice too. In fact three times. The mandapam scene and Poo's scenes and the background music.

Silly Poo.

How many times I have been disappointed watching endings that I did not want? Minsara Kanavu, Vinaithandi Varavaiya, Aval Oru Thodar Kathai - the scene where Sujatha was supposed to get married to the handsome Northerner and had to get up when she is told that her brother has been murdered was one of the worst scenes in my life. Years later, I'd ask why couldnt she have married the guy then look after her family. Annakili - another tragedy. The most wonderful and beautiful tragedy of all - Salangai Oli.

After all that, Poo-Sara is jujube. ๐Ÿ˜†
