Vani Rani Monday Dec 2^nd Written updates

Episode 221

Sura meets Rajesh's friend and gets to know that RS are at Mahabalipuram and have camped for the night. She faints.. At the other end, Selvi is all set to kavuthufy Rajesh. Friend calls Rajesh and says return ASAP. Your mom has severe chest pain. I am going to the hospital with her. Rajesh runs. Selvi is angry.

At Rajesh' home, Sura is feeling restless and tired. Friend says all tests done and Dr consulted, nothing to worry. Rajesh thanks friend who helped his mother on time. Sura requests Rajesh to be with her. Rajesh agrees much to Selvi's annoyance. Selvi walks out staring.

Rani is highly excited about going to Kula Deivam temple. Swami requests her not to talk family matters during the trip. But Rani in no mood to listen.

Mano tells Poo that Bhoomi has a mega plan in their trip i.e. convince Rani and Swami to come back home. Inside Jo and Angu plan to get Poo engaged to Surya.

Rani calls up Selvi to pick them in next 10 minutes. Selvi refuses saying she is not allowed inside temple. A sad Rani agrees to drop Slevi and pray for her. Sura wonders if this Selvi or Shenba talking

3 rowdies waiting in a car to finish off Bhoomi.

Megala tells her hubby that looks like Manikkam isn't happy about Karthik moving to Bangalore. Hubby screams your appa is angry for everything. His hatred is ridiculous. Why force Karthik to marry someone he does not like. I thought both families would unite with Poo- Karthik alliance. Megala taunts her hubby for not repaying Vani, the money he took for buying this house. Husband clearly tells I have no intentions to repay considering it as an opportunity for estranged families to unite. Karthik overhears all this.

3 Cars zoom into Thenkasi city. Beautiful falls are shown. Bhoomi's car breaks down en-route. New character intro. (adhanaga namba Sura pair) A girl selling tender coconut. 2 tyres punctured. Bhoomi asks Gautam to fetch a mechanic. Surya asks if he should go and find an alternate mode of transport. Bhoomi says No you will get lost. So don't go. Gautam asks that girl about puncture shop. She says 1 and km down you will find a mechanic. Bhoomi gives some money to Gautam. Gautam and driver scoot. That girl notices Bhoomi and Vani suffering in hot sun. She asks them if they need tender coconut. Vani refuses. Girl says it will take minimum 1 hr for them to return with a mechanic. So please take rest at my home. Vani says why take trouble. Girl says No troubles at all. My home is just here. How can I walk off seeing you guys suffering under hot sun. Bhoomi appreciates the nature of countryside people and says had it been city no body would have bothered. Bhoomi, Vani and Surya walk into that girl's home. That girl goes in and wakes her mother who seems to be instable. Bhoomi shocked to see that lady. They show flashes of an accident in negative.

Screen freezes on shocked Bhoomi's face

Tuesday Dec 3^rd Written Updates

Episode 222

Bhoomi is shocked to see that lady. That girl Devika updates her mom about bring Vani & Bhoomi onto their home, makes her mom fold her hands and welcome Vani & Bhoomi and asks her mom to sleep. Mom sleeps. Devika explains to Vani and Bhoomi that her mom is unwell and she cannot afford costly treatment with her meager earnings. Vani is moved. A disturbed Bhoomi walks out.

Back at Thenkasi home Rani & Co, Mano & Co have arrived. A sidu sidu Sara standing on the terrace. Thenu in photographic mood. Poo tries yet again to drill some sense into Sara but Sara as usual shuns her off. Jo wonders how their plan will succeed. She suggests Angu to take Bhoomi into confidence. Angu vetoes saying Bhoomi is not my son but Vani's hubby. So let this be a secret till the time I execute it. Vani & Co arrive. Rani is highly excited. The kids aka Thenu, Gautam, Surya, Poo click photos with Vani and Angu. Outside, a disturbed Bhoomi recollects the past.

22 years ago..

Bhoomi and Murthy are colleagues at some factory. They come out and start a granite business by using the money Vani gave and some jewels of Murthy's wife. Murthy is excellent in marketing and Bhoomi a pakka planner. Both join hands and get a bid deal. Bhoomi is highly excited and appreciates Murthy's intelligence. Murthy humbly says You have the talent to plan and I have the talent to execute. Together we succeed. Bhoomi feels soon they will become no.1 in Chennai. After some days, Bhoomi meets the auditor and tells good job done continue to show loss reports like this.. This is to convince Murthy so that I don't owe him anything since we are at loss whereas actually we are making crores of profit. Auditor wonder the reason. Bhoomi says my money invested. I took him as partner coz he would not agree to work under me. I paying him enough perks as an employer . I don't want to share profits as partner.. Hence this arrangement. Well Murthy listens to this conversation. He blasts Bhoomi for cheating him and decides to walks out of partnership. Bhoomi happily agrees to settle the amount. Murthy wants to verify the accounts so that he is not cheated. Papers are done. Bhoomi gives the settlement amount and the balance sheet to Murthy for verification. Murthy takes the money and says I know for sure that you would have cheated on these accounts and in the settlement amount too. I don't care. I challenge you that I will start the same granite business opposite your plant, use my talent and grow bigger than you in span of 1 year. Bhoomi says good poitu va. Murthy drives off.

Next scene, we see Murthy's car has been abandoned in an isolated place. Murthy is lying lifeless on the steering and the moneybox Bhoomi gave is missing.

Murthy got out of the car looking for his money - he is walking along the road calling hey Bhoominatha - he came to Bhoomi ask why did do this to me - Bhoomi telling I didn't know what are talking about - don't act give me money - I beg you give me the money - I have a little girl - you named her Devika - I will go to police and I want to kill you then both fight - murthy cursing him one day you are going to be an orphan - standing alone nobody going to there with you - you mark my words - Bhoomi adiyal drag Murthy away - Bhoomi waiting with his umbrella beside the car - his adiyal give Murthy's money Bhoomi ask what did you do - they tell him that they cut the break wire he had an accident they took money ran away from there

Rajesh bring mom to the hospital - mom tells the truth about Selvi - he is not believing

Bhoomi come to his friend house calling Devi - provide me 25 coconut - I will bring it in the morning - how much money - give me money in the morning - where is your father - I don't know - she is telling the story - father lost all the money - he brought us here - he drinks a lot - when he drink he goes to temple and yell at the God - he yells my partner cheated me why you didn't do anything - one time he did that people got angry and beat him and throw in the river - few days we got his shirt - from that mom became like this - what can I say it was fate that his partner cheated him - I still believe he lives somewhere it happened 20 years ago - Bhoomi ask what did you study. She tells I have degree - why don't you get job somewhere that way you will get money - she tells no this is enough I can watch over Amma and do my work - what about her medical bills - if Appa come back Amma will be ok - I have faith he will come back

Bhoomi thinking I did this - if I tell this to my family I will lose everything - I am not going tell anyone about this - this is going to my secret - I think he changed will help the family indirectly

Senba looking at Rajesh photo talking - I loved you from small - why did you marry Selvi and broke my heart - Sura and Rajesh heard the whole thing - now he believe this is not Selvi - he shocked

Vani Rani Episode 224, Thursday 05/12/13

Rajesh is shocked at Selvi, no Shenba, no Selvi. (I'm confused 😕😆) Rajesh asks what is happening to Sundari and remains shocked. 😲

Surya comes to Vani and tells her that Saravannan is not participating in anything. Vani comes to Sara and asks him why he is behaving so strangely. Sara blames Vani 😲 and tells her family to stop following them. 😲 Vani tells him to stop diverting and asks him why he is acting like a rowdy.' She says that people can pickpocket with blades (or alternatively people can shave their big beard off 😆). Vani says that all of her hopes and respect on him is now broken. She says that rowdism' in never the way to go. 😃 She says that winners never talk like this. 😃Her dad is a winner but he is making Swami lose. She says that if she hears that he is doing wrong stuff her mum will not be in their house (same blackmail 😃). She leaves and Sara thinks.

The murderers come to the house, creeping slowly killing the time. 😡 Bhoomi catches the guy about to kill him (I think he noticed him ages ago but remained still, quite sneaky 😲). Surya wakes up Gautham on hearing noises. Gautham, Sara and Bhoomi trap two guys. 😃 Another guy comes with a knife over Thenu's neck. 😡😭 Rani freaks out. 😭 The two guys are let go. The three escape with Thenu. 😡Rani cries. 😭

Morning, everyone gathers around. Rani still crying (pavam evalavu kanneru) They are waiting for a phone call. The guy calls Bhoomi, Bhoomi tells him to release Thenu and ask what they want. The guy says that he wants Bhoomi's life. 😲

Friday EPISODE 225

Continues with Yesterday, where the rowdi's comment that they require Bhoomis life inturn to leave Thenu. They say they want bhoomi to come to the forest behind the city, alone and if they go to police they will kill thenu. Bhoomi shocked. Once Bhoomi cuts the call everybody ask what happened, who is that over the call. Bhoomi remains in silent for a while, finally reveals that he doesnt know who they are and they want his own life in turn to return thenu. Everybody looks shocked. Angu in fear says Bhoomi, Vani is shell schoked. Samy in anger shouts, Pavi. Who knows this is whom among those family whom you have ruined.😡. I am least bothered about you or your life, my daughter is a small child, what did she do to die. When something happens to her why should the rowdis, I myself will kill you, go somewhere and die. Everyone is shell shocked😛. Rani ask Samy what are you speaking, when some idiots gives a prank call, what will mama do, I cannot tolerate even one drop of tears from my sister😭. Swami BP level rises up, he then questions which means that thenu is not important to you and lifts his hands to beat Rani😡. Everybody looks shocked and Vani screams Sami...are you such a ordinary human being to lift hands on my sister, when she says she cannot tolerate my tears how will I leave her upset. You may be a ordinary human being and differentiate my kids and your kids, but to me everybody is the same for ever and none of them are different. She is not so cruel enough to save her husband killing Thenu. Vani finally leaves with Bhoomi, Jo forwards mano to accompany them but Vani says, let everybody be here and they will bring Thenu back

Vani leaves to meet a ex-commissioner, to whom she reveals everything. The police officer says its not fair enough to go to police because its a life and if they tend to do something it will result in damage. He says that he will send the local force{Ur Kavalali} to follow bhoomi so that Gangsters will not know and they will also be like local people👏. Vani agrees. In home swami tries to leave to find Thenu, Rani stops him saying that her akka has went. Swami screams again I cannot remain in silent, Rani questions, whom are you saying as others, My akka and Mama. This is not fair enough, dont I have the same feeling as you have. Swami shouts for you, rather than Me, Thenu or even God, your sister is more important. Nobody can be like you, and I wish nobody should be like you. For the entire earth one Rani will suffice, if there is going to be yet another one, this earth will be no more. Angu says, Sami this is a different place and in search of thenu you will get lost, with that fear Rani stops you, why dont you understand. This idiot screams again let me come with thenu or die forever. Poongodi says him to wait but he interrupts you dont speak on this, Surya tells him dont we have the same tension as you have. Swami screams "Vaya mududa", I am her father. Does you feeling and my feeling are the same.All this is heard by Devika who questions what happened. Surya updates that she is Devika, where people tell what was the problem going on in their family. She says that the place is a dense forest and nobody can go alone. Rani ask her do you know the place. Gowtham says her to take all the three brothers there, else his sister life will be lost. Without her the entire family will suffer. She finally agrees to take them. Gowtham ask swami to be at home, because the gangsters may engage in some mischief with people at home, so he requests Swami to take care of the people at home, and leaves with Saravanan and Surya.

Bhoomi on the other end goes to the forest, who is followed here and there by the local people, and they direct him. Bhoomi reaches the spot and screams "Ayyo".😲. The local force rushes up, where Bhoomi has a letter written by the Gangsters worded "For the intelligence of your wife, your daughter is the scape goat". At home Vani sees the letter, and everyone in silence, Swami questions Vani, is this enough for you. You went all along with your husband talking and finally what did you manage to do? Enna Kilichinga?😡. If something happens to my daughter, I will not spare you all. Vani remains in Shock and silence, and receives a call. She picks the call and the rowdi says, for you the local force may be new, but for us, we have been brought up in the same place and they knew them very well. The rowdi says, go out and see, I have parcelled a hand of your daughter and dropped outside your house, go and have a look of it. Vani screams "Yei". 😲

Vani Rani Monday Dec 9th Written Updates
Episode 226

With Devika's help, Gautam, Sara and Surya (GSSD) reach the forest in search of Thenu. Kidnappers calls Bhoomi and threaten him to come alone immediately if they want Thenu alive. Rani wailing inconsolably. Vani highly confused. Bhoomi screams on the phone I am coming and walks off.

At the forest, GSSD spot the kidnappers. Kidnappers too see them. They scoot with Thenu. A wild goose chase starts. But Thenu is not saved. Bhoomi walks in. Devika drags the rest in to hide out and suggests lets follow Bhoomi. Kidnappers will not come out of their hideout if we go. Bhoomi pona they will come out. Appo madakidalam. The rest agree.

Bhoomi lands in a spot and screams I have come alone. Hand over Thenu. Come out man. Kidnappers (painted faces) come with a crying Thenu. GSSD stand watching. Bhoomi says please leave her. Kidnappers say we want your life in return. Bhoomi without any hesitation screams determined . Come and kill me. Take my life but spare the little one. Thenu in tears. Just before kidnappers can pierce the knife into Bhoomi. GSS swing into action and thrash the kidnappers. Devika take Thenu to a safe place. Kidnappers elope and the crowd returns home.

All are happy and emotional that Thenu is back. Thenu updates that Periyappa did not mind losing his life for saving me. Swami is moved. Thenu continues. I was so worried. Right time la GSS swung into action and saved us. Rani is amused that Surya fought. Surya says looks like G&S have to take tips from me. All of them smile. Rani asks mama you love my kids so much that you did not bother about giving up your life. Bhoomi says it id my duty. I have done so ungrateful things to you guys . Time to repay for my misdeeds.

Devika is hurt during the hunt. Bhoomi and Vani take her to the hospital treat her and bring her to her home. Bhoomi tells Devika we would like to do something in return for the help you did to us. Devika refuses. Vani says he is right. He spoke my mind. You done a gr8 favour by helping us save our child. We are bound to help you. Bhoomi smiles.

Vani Rani Tuesday Dec 10^th Written updates

Episode 227

Devika aka Devi's home.. Bhoomi wants to do an unforgettable help Devi & mom (adhan yerkanave panni tiye pa 😉). Vani agrees. Devi hesitates. Bhoomi suggests why not take Devi's mother to Chennai and treat her. Vani says excellent idea and calls up a neurologist known to her. Bhoomi says I have learnt a hard lesson about money. We will be more than happy if our money is going to help someone in need. Vani asks are you insecure of taking help from strangers. Devi says Nope. I was worried about the highly costly and time-consuming treatment. Vani says don't worry about that. We are there. Your mother will be fit and fine soon. I have spoken to chief Dr from a reputable hospital. Evening ambulance will arrive. Take your mom and go to Chennai. Bhoomi says very good, we will join you guys day after tomorrow after finishing the poojai tomorrow. An emotional Devi thanks them. Vani, Bhoomi cheer her up and leave.

Next morning, VR families reach the temple. All are very happy and excited. (Bhoomi looked very handsome in veshti.. 😳😳) Jodi jodiya temple suthi varanga.. Sara & Swami, Bhoomi, Gautam & Surya, Vani & Thenu, Mano & Poo, Angu & Jo. Rani is busy with arrangements. Bhoomi declares that he will give half the property to Swami at the temple. Gautam & Surya are so happy and proud about their changed father. Poo smiles at Sara. But Sara walks off. Jo is anxious when the talk will happen. Angu says Swami and Bhoomi united post Thenu's kidnap. Jo says Vani in all glee seeing the united brothers. So it is the right to strike the rod. Angu agrees. All seated in the praharam waiting for swami alangaram to finish. Vani wants to extend the stay. Bhoomi nods in agreement. Gautam says city born people cannot stay beyond 4 days. Mobile signal not there in most places. Bhoomi taunts ama adhu ippo romba mukkiyam.. (super attitude when he said this.. 👏 the talks were so natural like a family..⭐️ it reminded me of my kula dievam temple visit with my cousin families 😛). Angu slowly starts the topic. Surya needs to get married. It is better we choose a known girl. A petrified Surya asks why taking dangerous route. 😆🤣 Angu continues we will immediately agree if the girl is known. Vani smilingly asks enna dhideernu..😊 is someone known to us like that. Angu says why ask like this.. namba Poongodi illa. Athai vazhi and maman vazhila murai ponnu. Jo in all smiles.😡 Poo is shocked. Angu says if we get Poo and Surya married.. Just imagine the happiness that will flow in our families. (flow agitalum.. iru bhoogambam vedikka pordhu.. 😆) All are speechless. Poo screams nonsense. Are you gone nuts? Gautam butts in and says Patti wonder why these thoughts came into your mind. But this plan will not work out since Poo loves Sara. All are shocked. Jo angrily asks Poo is this true? (yenma.. neenga love pannalam ana unga ponnu panna padatha.. 😡 ) Bhoomi stops her and says why tension. Nalla vishayam dhane. What's wrong in Poo loving Sara?👏 Namba familyla nalla padikara payyan.⭐️ Enna thaguthi illa avanukku. He is a suitable pair for Poo in all ways. He is related to Poo in the same way as Surya. So amma's logic will work for this relationship too. 👍🏼 Jo syays stop it. Relationship logic is namesake. 😲 Amma has 1000 reasons for Surya -Poo alliance. Even if that does not happen I don't mind. But I am not an elichavayi to get my daughter married to coffee selling fellow. 😡😡 Mano screams Jothi. But Jo shuts him off. Jo tells Bhoomi .. amma has spoken about this alliance to you already. Bhoomi nods. Vani is shocked. Jo continues. I will happily give Poo to Surya but don't recommend for roadside people. I haven't even discussed with Vani whether we should consider it or not. 👏Vani says if Poo and Sara are in love then we should get them married. 👍🏼 It is wrong to humiliate Swami. 👍🏼 Jo says what's wrong in telling the fact? They lived on your alms till some days back. Now they are selling coffee.. Soon they will start a tea stall and sell vadai. Do you want my daughter to eat tea and vadai and live her life? 🤢 Bhoomi screams shut up. He raises his hand and says I will slap you. 👏⭐️ Vani stops him. Bhoomi says Swami pathi pesa unakku enna yogyathai irukku. 🥳Do you know his value? Only now I have realized his value. What do you need, Money and property is it? You will give your daughter only to wealthy people is it. Jo speechless. Bhoomi says like you for me too money was the most important thing till some time back. But that money could do nothing but splitting my family and separating my loved ones from me. 😭Your problem is he not being wealthy right. I never thought it would happen like this. He pulls out the property documents and says my brother's family has done so much for me. I haven't done anything in return. Now I am doing it. He has equal authority on whatever I have.🤗 Are you happy now? Will you give your daughter now? Swami screams are you guys enacting yet another drama. Do you think I will accept this? I shun off the house and business order anni arranged for me. Rani tries to defend her akka. Swami shuts her up and says your akka and mama's nalla gunam has got us to streets. When he saved my daughter by risking his life, I was moved and trusted him. That is the biggest mistake I did. He will never change. All time thinks about money. Do you think I will fall for money? Bhoomi says you have got me wrong I don't have any ulterior intentions. This is not a planned drama. You can verify with my sons and wife. I have done this arrangement the say I reformed and moved back to my home. Gautam says Yes appa has reformed. Please don't accuse him. Swami asks this arrangement is to make us permanent slaves is it. Surya says please don't talk wrongly. Swami screams shut up. Your father has done enough damage to us all my life. You think I will pick this alms and serve you guys for life. I am pleading you guys repeatedly only one thing. Please let us live our life and you guys stay out of it. Don't insult us on every possible occasion. Rani bumps in and says how can you accuse my akka. Swami screams this gumbal made you insane, me a beggar, let our kids roam on streets and stood enjoying it. 😡😡🤢🤢

Samy in a rage saying don't speak - I know what you are doing - don't play games with me - why you didn't leave me alone

Vani telling him I am not going to stay quite - going to speak so better listen - I am against whatever Bhoomi did before - you know I don't tolerate any wrongdoings - I know now that he changed but you are not listening - when he sent you to prison I was questioning myself whether to stay with him or leave him and Rani made promise on Thenu and it kept me there otherwise I would have walked out ask Point if you don't believe me

Samy saying don't lie everything is planned don't act with me - tell your sister I don't steal from anyone

Vani saying leave everything we are talking about Saravanan and Poo love matter here - what do you think about it - what is the decision you are going to make - if they love each other we should let them marry - Sara saying I don't love her - maybe she loves me but I am not in love with her

Bhoomi says sorry - Samy saying stop your drama act and we are done - I know this is going to happen that's why I was against to come here - Rani you told me it's family but we are not their family - we are different - lets go - he drag his family - Rani calling acca acca

Vani and Bhoomi calling them back but Surya telling them leave it - he is not going to listen anymore need time to cool it down

Now our troublemaker Jothi ask what about Poo and Surya matter -why can't they get married - Sr Anaconda join too saying why we can't talk about it now - we are family not them - Vani looked at her like alien - what the are you talking look and saying Stop - Mano tells his wife lets go - no Jothi has to create more problems - she started to talk and Vani tells her family lets go so they leave

Rani family at home - she is ranting and raving about Jothi - saying how can she tell about all these bad things about us - we did so much for her - I am going to make my husband rich and show her - who is she talking about my husband - I know all about her problems - she and her husband went to prison because of her greediness - Bhoomi has to bail them out - she would be in street if he didn't help her - she is talking about you what right she has - I wanted to give her back but stopped for maam and acca

I know my husband can become rich and if he sell coffee so what he is not cheating anyone like her and he is independent businessman answer to himself only not like mano he has to work for someone else and listen to them

Samy says stop Rani I know what are you trying to do - before I start to scream you started - I know you are pretending to be angry at them - Rani says no I am really angry and I mean it - he tells her I told before this is what going to happen but you didn't listen - we don't need anyone - they are different from us - we are never going to be family again - Rani start to cry - he tells her you told me you will do anything for me - I only want one thing from you - promise on Thenu that you are not going to talk to Vani anymore no contact or going to her house - Rani stunned there crying - she tells him ok - he says promise - she tells him you trust me right when I say yes that means it's yes I am not going to promise on Thenu - she walked away from there ( oh Samy you became totally unreasonable person - she is hurt now - Vani did good things for their family why this kolaveri )

Vani Rani Episode 229, Thursday 12/12/13

Thenu approaches Rani. Thenu asks whether she refused to promise on her because she thought she might break the promise. Rani first refuses but later agrees. She says that she cannot believe that Jyothi talked like this. Rani asks how it's fair of him telling her not to see her sister for Jyothi's mistake. (Very fair point, I feel for you Rani) Rani says that Vani was her life-saviour and without her she doesn't know at what signal she would be blindly begging. Thenu says that her father has a justification which those two aren't quite aware of. Rani says that she needs her sister. Thenu says that she needs to listen to Swami as now he is everything for them. Thenu cannot stand Rani being scolded by her father as she values her at the same place as Rani values her sister. 😭 Both share a hug. 😭

Poo says that she loves Sara to Jyothi ( a changed actress) and Angu. Poo asks why there is a different justification for her and Jyothi. 😊 She reminds Jyothi that when she married Mano, he had no wealth. Jyothi says that her marriage happened only with Angu's consent and she should also do the same. (Good comeback) Poo says that she will either marry Sara or no-one at all. Poo asks Mano whether he values wealth. Mano says that he isn't ready to talk about this subject. Angu tells Jyothi to marry Poo with another groom. 😡 (I'm only angry because they are planning to marry her without her consent - I actually don't want Saravannan for her now 😆)

Sundari and Rajesh return home. Selvi is shocked on seeing Rajesh. 😆 Rajesh says that he did this as Sundari got cured. He then lists the conditions which he needs to follow, including the sleeping issues. 😳 Selvi fumes and walks out angrily. She bangs her head on a wardrobe 😕 - Rajesh and Sundari come and get her to rest.

Bhoomi continues to blame him for what happened. Gautham and Surya tell him to stop as he carries no fault. 😃 Vani asks why Gautham hid Poo's love. Vani says that Swami is in a situation where he will take even good things badly. Vani also says that now this problem cannot be solved as Swami will never accept. 😲 Vani says that Swami requires time to come out of this situation - pointing out that Gautham and Surya took time to accept Bhoomi & Bhoomi took time to come back home after his stay in the office. (Huh, the dialogues are awesome today) As Bhoomi says that Saravannan has told them that he has no love for Poo, she enters and says that he lied. (Can you please stop this, where a person enters the scene while saying something - make it so that she has already entered and then speaks) Poo says that Sara does love him. Vani says that love is forgetting even when it's painful. 😲 She tells her that the three family's connection and bond rests on her hands - she needs to decide whether to forget or change... (Oh 😲, It just got better - I'm in love with the last few lines)
