Vani Rani Monday Sep 16^th Written updates

Episode 168

Angu cursing Rani and praising Bhoomi. 😡🤢 Jo is still skeptical that Rani left the house. Poo and Mano walk in. Jo signals and immediately Bhoomi starts his acting.. 😲😲 Please don't kill me with your words.. I am as such so worried for Rani. Wonder where they are now. (ada che thapichutanga da.. 😡😡 Suspense kuduthu made us wait for 2 days.. all our karpanai went waste😡) Mano asks what happened. Jo says Rani & Co left home. Mano and Poo ask the reason. Poo tells Mano to call Swami. Bhoomi stops them and tells first listen to me. Bhoomi says Swami did a mistake. I questioned him and slapped him. But did not ask them to go out. Vani asked them to get out. How could I stop them after Vani' asked them to go.😡 Mano does not believe that Vani asked Rani to go. Mano threatens Bhoomi tell the truth if I get to know that you played in this.. I will. 👏 Bhoomi stops him says Promise I did not do anything. Poo wonders what made them go out. Bhoomi says Swami swindled 1crore money, So I slapped him. But Vani asked them to get out since Vani is an epitome of honesty. Mano feels something wrong and panics. 😭 Poo consoles him saying don't panic we shall find them. Gautam calls up Bhoomi and updates about Vani swooning, struggling to breath and admitted in hospital. Bhoomi updates all. Angu fakes concern for Vani Rani 🤢 and asks Bhoomi to console Vani that Rani will be back safe and sound. Mano wants to join. But Bhoomi says I will alone and rushes to hospital. Mano and Poo walk out to call Swami. Angu and Jo smile at each other.🤢🤢 Swami and Co not reachable. Mano decides to search in person. Poo is worried. 😭

At the hospital, an unconscious Vani connected to many wires, struggling to breath.😭😭 Dr checks and gives instructions to nurse. (Dr bayandude testing Radhika madam 😆😆). Outside Gautham and Surya are worried.

Manikkam rejoicing the moment. 🤢I have been for this all these years. No they will know what the pain of separation is. The pain they are going through is the boon God has given give me.🤢 Nalla venam avnagalkku. Karthik asks thatha how long will you keep talking like PS Veerappa. 🤣Manikkam says PS acts but my anger/happiness is real. You guys might think why this happiness when we are left penniless But for me it a moment to rejoice. I lost everything the moment my wife left me. But was on penance for their downfall. 😡 God has proved that my curses have the power. Much more is waiting for them. Megala stops him and says don't rejoice over someone's sad state.👏 Manikkam says have you forgotten what they did. Your mother hanged herself unable to bear what they did. Have forgotten how I suffered that day. I gave those orphans, shelter, food and education. In return they shattered my life. Today they will remorse for hurting me. Karthik says Rani missing, Vani amma is hospitalized. How can you talk like this. Manikkam screams don't call her amma. I will kill you. Death is fate and we cannot brood for everyone death. 😡 They have bags of sins accumulated with them. Let them cry for hurting me. Megala says Pardon me. I cannot rejoice over someone's kashtam. Don't put your sin bags onto my head. I cannot give to my son. ⭐️ She drags Karthik away. SIL advises Manikkam.. don't show your happiness openly. Who knows we might end up taking Vani's help to win our legal battle. (sandhula sindhu padrar 😆) Manikkam says I don't might losing everything. Will think that I gave it of as alms. But will never enjoy anything won by her. SIL in his mind says this house is Vani's alms. Why jumping sky high. Wonder what will happen if he gets to know the truth and fights with Vani. He tries to pacify Manikkam by saying please talk smoothly if you face them. Manikkam says all ties broken No question of talking to them. SIL happy appada money matter will not be known. Manikkam says if I get to know any of you guys are maintaining relationship with them. I will kill you guys and then die. 😲

Bhoomi comes to hospital and enquires how is Vani. Gautam says she is alive. Go and kill her once for all. 👏 Bhoomi says don't talk stupidly. Surya screams don't talk. You are not a human. ⭐️ You have done many mistakes and we have been consoling ourselves thinking you will reform one day. But you have proved that you will never change. 👍🏼 Gautam says You are a criminal.👏 Pakkava Plan panni blamed chithappa and chased them out. 👏 Bhoomi says I didn't ask them to go out. Vani chased them. Why blame me.Surya says excellent pa. You have now turned the blame on amma. ⭐️Instead you could have killed her. She is breathless now. If she dies, you can bring your sister home and rejoice once for all. 👏 Gautam says you are disturbed that your sons are questioning you with choicest words. 😆 What else do we do. We are calling you app coz amma told us. Now we have spared your life only coz you have lived with her. 🤗 Illatta for what you have done.. Vendam.. hospital naridum. 😆😆 Surya questions what did Chithi (Rani) do? She was always loving and caring, all time thinking about our welfare. You have never spent any time with us. You don't know anything about us. But she took care of our every need. 🤗 We have never spoken to you as our dad, neither have you permitted us. But we have a shared a friendly relationship with chithappa.👏 We could share anything with him. Gautam says you have behaved like a third rated criminal. Amma could have sent you behind bars. She has spared you only coz Rani made her promise. Even while walking out with blame Rani has saved you. What did you gain by chasing them out that too with such cheap accusation? ⭐️ Now amma is battling for life. Are you going to go in, cry and enact another drama. I will not remain a human if you do so. Petha pulaynga thoonu thuppara alavukku nadanthurkaravan ellam oru appava.. I am ashamed. Wonder what jenmam you are. Even after living with amma for so many years you are behaving so cheaply. Wonder why you were born? Surya says if amma does not back safe and sound, I will not spare you. Bhoomi apoligizes, enquires about Vani's health and wants to go in to meet her. Dr says we are unable to diagnose the exact reason. 😲 She is wheezing heavily. All tests are normal. But wonder why she is struggling to breathe. (moocha Rani kondu poita Dr Sir.. ) We have given her injections to sleep for a while. Please don't disturb her. Surya gives nasty stare at Bhoomi and walks off to cry his heart out. Bhoomi sulks down with a soga BGM recollecting Dr's words. (probably deep down he knows the truth Vani will not able to survive without Rani) Screen freezes on Vani and Rani

Brief one makkaz .. sorry.

Both Gautham and saro refuses to walk away. So Swami pretends like his angry and insults them chases them away. Starts walking and wonders what to do next.

Vani calls point and ask him to find Rani and co and get them settled. Point upset to hear what happen.

Rani and family walking. There comes Bhoomi's manager who swami helped before. Shock to see them and Theenu tells him they need a house. He immediately says a friend of his has a house and asked him to rent it out. Takes them there. Swami feel very grateful and tells him they will pay rental all accordingly.

Manager comes out and calls point tells him that his got them all settled. This is heard by swami who refuses to take help from Vani any longer .. takes back his family on road 😕

Vani is shock to hear Point updating her about Swami refusing her help and now his lost touch where they are. Vani shock and faints. Gautham & Suria rushes her to hospital.

Bhoomi at anaconda house sharing happy news .. all 3 laughs happily. Anaconda says she is going to gift him something. She will make Vani fall on his feet and starts only living for him. All laughs and insults Rani family .. Bhoomi turns and shock to see someone.

Wednesday Sep 18th Updates
Episode 160

Selvi ask Gautham to wait and she will be there to see Vani.

Both she and Rajesh gets ready and comes down but is stopped by Kali who speaks bad about Vani and co. Selvi raise her hand showing her finger mind it by shouting Mama 👏 She reminds him that when her family came and kind of insulting him .. she scolded them by standing on Kali's side. The same thing now if her family is disgrace by Kali, she will not even hesitate a second to stand on their side. She knows how much he hates her and loves to torture her and she kept her mouth shut all this while. Does he know the value of that patience? She reminds him what all he did when her family came by and how she just remain silent that time. Shenba is not happy with the way Selvi is talking. She also kept quite when he brought Shenba and keep saying she will marry his son nu. She bear all the tortures did by Shenba. How long will it take for Selvi to just say poyaa and take her husband out from this house?? 👏 Basically today Selvi too kind of rocked by giving nicely to Kali 😛 Selvi says only one phone call to her Vani and all his thimiru anavam will be gone by drain. Kali says yeiii but Selvi raise little higher and says yeiii too 😉 She shows her hand to shut Kali. How long will it take for Selvi to file complain that FIL is torturing her .. he will be sentenced forever. Why report.. even he she give one nod to her brother Gautham .. he will be taken care off.

She has been showing him the patience that her mother Rani thought her but she is yet to show him what her other mother Vani thought her. If she shows that Kali can never take it. She warns him to be careful here after. Her patience is not cause afraid of Kali but for her loving MIL and husband. Warns Shenba too and leaves with Rajesh. Both Rajesh and mother happy with what Selvi said.

Confusing moment 😕 Doctor tells Bhoomi he can go in to see vani. Bhoomi goes in with a nice bgm makes me wonder if he really did love vani with that BGM ... Stands beside Vani with flashback running on his mind. Maybe Bhoomi is a nice guy without his anoconda pouring poison into him pola 😕

Both Rajesh Selvi arrives. Both son's crying beside their mother. Selvi sees Bhoomi sitting outside and questions him why he did like this? How much she had trusted Bhoomi? How did he have the heart to do all this? Bhoomi remain silent. Selvi cries to him that she don't even know where her family is and how much she suffering not knowing what happen to them. Selvi ask if he wants to chase everyone out and live happily in the house alone? Selvi ask him to answer but he keeps quite. Gautham comes out and says how can Bhoomi answer? His body full of poison and his ashamed of being Bhoomi son. Gautham tells Selvi another truth about Swami and Bhoomi not sharing the same mother. She is shock. Gautham and soori tells her that by using that Bhoomi had badly insulted the poor swami.

Bhoomi in tears. Gautham ask Selvi not to fall for it as he has stock of fake tears. All of them goes in to see vani. Bhoomi watches them walking away with tears in eyes... sad? heart broken? What ever!!! Will know on next episode 😆

Thursday Sep 19th Updates
Episode

Bhoomi continues with unknown expression. Selvi and the rest goes in and sees Vani.

Later both Selvi and Rajesh goes around hunting for Rani & co. Other side Pongodhi and her father searching.

Rani & co walking walking walking. Theenu ask for water. Swami makes them sit aside and goes to a shop ask for water but says no money. Shop guy ask him to wait and goes inside. Swami sees Kali auto coming on the road .. runs away to hide. Goes back to his family lies to them some fight going on there so lets move from here nu..

Both Rajesh Selvi back home. Kali ask Rajesh to wait as he needs to talk to him taniya. Selvi says now Rajesh is her husband so what ever he wants to say can say out to both of them. Kali tells Rajesh he does not care where they go and what they do. But for him his collections is the most important thing and today there is no collections from Rajesh. So he has decided Rajesh is not suitable for this job and ask him back for the key. Rajesh Selvi shock. Rajesh goes appa appa but Kali is not in mood to listen anything. Selvi ask Kali how much is that auto worth 😲 Kali insults her asking why she wants to buy huh? From where will she get the money?? From Vani huh nu he insults. Selvi raise her finger and ask him to talk with respect 👏 She asked him a question and only expects for the answer. Kali says around 1 1/2 kodi nu (yeah i think he did mention kodi) Shenba is watching all this. Selvi thinks a while and then takes out her chain and ring. Puts in front of Kali and says for now value these golds are 1 kodi. Balance will be settled to him in a month. From now on that auto belongs to my husband. And Kali will not have any rights to insult her going on her husband auto. Selvi goes up.

Kali speechless as he did not expect this while shenba is super piss of with the new Selvi.

Upstairs Selvi cries about her family to her MIL who tries to give her comfort. Selvi blames herself for all that is going on now. Selvi cries to her.

Downstairs Sheba asking her mama what is going on? Selvi has changed and his keeping quite? Selvi is taking her rights in front of her on Rajesh. She is scared as Kali keeping quite. Kali tells her that Selvi told him this morning she will make a complain FIL torturing her nu. He knows she is capable of doing it. And if she does, he will be in jail for 7 years. He cannot be inside if he needs to get Shenba married to Rajesh. His only being silent now. Soon he will work things out and ask her not to be scared and go inside.

Bhoomi waiting outside Vani room. Nurse comes and gives him Vani's golds. He takes the ring .. bgm starts and Bhoomis pheelings oh pheelings start as well ... thodarum

Vani Rani Tuesday Sep 17^th Written Updates

At the hospital Dr asks Bhoomi & Co not to disturb Vani.

Evil Angu and Jo rejoicing that their misson is accomplished. Angu goes one step ahead. She says Looks like Selvi is unaware of the whole fiasco. Lets play a game with her. She calls Selvi from Poo's phone and abuses Selvi to the core. She accuses Selvi as the reason for all problems at Bhoomi's home. You stepped in Bhoomi home and Bhoomi walked out. You stepped in here and Mano almost met death and came back. Looks like you stepped in again into Bhoomi's home, now your family is missing and Vani is battling for life. Selvi is shell-shocked. Angu and Jo in all glee. Angu curses somemore and disconnects without giving any details. Selvi bursts crying. Rajesh tries to reach Swami and Sara's phone. Both not reachable. Angu and Jo hi-5 over hurting Slevi. 🤢 Jo wondres what if Selvi finds Rani and unites the sisters.. Angu says impossible. Rani is rosha kari. She will never come back even if Vani asks her to come back. Jo is relieved. The duo smile. 😡😡

Jo and Mano frantically searching Rani & Co. Poo calls up all Sara's friends and checks personally on their homes too. Gautam too is on operation search Rani. Poo calls him. He polambufies about the happenings and tells that he feels like strangling his dad. Poo brushes that aside and is more interested in searching Sara & Co. Gautam tells Poo, Sara would have definitely contacted atleast one of his closest person. I guess it could be his favourite professor Ramesh Kumar. Professor is on leave coz of his daughter marriage. Get his address from college watchman, go and check. Poo agrees.

Selvi crying that her parents did not bother to inform her and wonders what compelled them to walk out. Rajesh consoles her and asks to get ready for searching Rani & co. Selvi wants to check on Vani's health before the mission. She calls Gautam and cries why didn't any of you inform me. Patti called me. Where is amma. Gautam says don't worry. We are on search and will surely find them ASAP. Selvi cries bitterly tha they have shun gher off. Guatam sasy how we share a sadnews. I wnaetd to tellyo after I find them. Selvi enquires about Vani. Gautam says Vani isn't normal after Rani left. She is struggling to breathe. We are clueless on how to treat her. My father is the reason for all problems. I feel like killing him. If something happens to my mom, he is a dead meat.

Bhoomi's seated outside, nurse comes & hands him Vani's jewels. Bhoomi picks out a ring & remembers gifting it to Vani. He asks her to show her hand & tries to put it on. Vani says it's tight & Bhoomi says he wanted to keep it a surprise & didn't check her size. Vani tells him not to worry, she'll put it on the finger that fits & she will keep it with her for the rest of her life.

Swami, Rani, Sara & Thenmozhi enters a temple. Then asks, sleeping on her dad's lap, if the temple is their new home? Her head is aching & she's seeing everything double. Swami says Sara went to get them food & it will all be alright. Surya comes & gives her kovil prasadham. Then says she thought he was going to bring them food from hotel but she will adjust knowing their situation. Then says that she left her books behind & needs to prepare for some exam. Saravanan asks her to eat & Swami cries. Swami says not even one kadavul came to their rescue... Then tells him to take it as if one God gave her this prasadham. Swami asks Sara to look after Rani & Then & he's going to go look for a job. Swami leaves & Rani's deep in thoughts.

Surya, Gautham & Bhoomi waiting outside, doctor comes out & says there's no improvement from her side. He took all the tests & there's nothing wrong with her body but she's finding it hard to breath normally. Doctor suggest it might have something to do with mana kavalai or stress. This is could be one the reasons & we cannot keep like this for long. Doctors leaves, Gautham asks him to find to Rani or does he want Vani gone... mela poganuma? Bhoomi gets angry but Surya agrees with Gautham. Surya says he will not only take him to court but also kill by throwing a rock. Surya continues to ask him why he's here when he cannot be truthful to anyone. Bhoomi says nothing like that... Surya & Gautham goes on about how he insulted Swami's birth & what does he have to show for his birth... what gouravam did he earn? Swami worked hard everyday for your well being. Bhoomi tells them to stop, thaanga mudiyalada. Surya asks why he couldn't take amma & Rani ma being together? Bhoomi says they are not going to believe whatever he says & he cannot justify what he did. Surya asks him to go & find Rani ma. Bhoomi agrees to look for them & he'll stop thinking criminally, nambungada enna. Bhoomi begs them to trust him & Bhoomi's mum comes calling his name. She asks why he's crying & asks Surya & Gautham what they said to hurt him. Bhoomi asks her to leave, says he ruined his family & no god will forgive him. Bhoomi puts all the blame on her paasam & says he wants to be Vani's husband from now on. Bhoomi's mum asks Surya & Gautham what they said to brainwash his son? Bhoomi interrupts & tells her to leave him & his family. Bhoomi falls at her feet asking her to leave.

Vani Rani Monday Sep 23^rd Written Updates

Episode 173

Bhoomi tells Angu.. I will do every duty as your son and satisfy all your needs. But please stay away and let me live peacefully. I cannot be selfish anymore. He falls at her feet and begs her to walk off. A shocked Angu walks off with teary eyes. 👏👏 Bhoomi pleads Surya and Gautam to resume Operation search Rani. Bhoomi says I too will search and am prepared to die to bring her back.😲 Only way Vani will survive is uniting her with Rani.⭐️ Please search and bring her back. Gautam says whether you say or not we will do it. 👍🏼 Gautam and Surya walk off. Bhoomi stands crying and praying. 😲

Gautam and Surya (G & S ) on search mission. Swami in search of a work. G & S meet Point and polmabufy - Rani and Co not found and the reason for their walk had to shared with the people we interrogate. It is pathetic to share such matters. 😭 Gautam wonder if they left the city. Points says not possible. Surya wonders why Vani asked Rani to get out. Point says Vani called me immediately and asked me to arrange for a house through Manager. But that flopped since Swami got to know it was Vani's help and he refused too accept it. G & S feel they might some clue from shops nearby that house. The trio drive off. A coupe stranded on a road coz their car breaks down. Their small baby crying out of hunger 😭 (enna amma .. Yenga ponalam should carry something for the baby to eat nu theriyatha.🤢 ) . The couple fight. Swami volunteers to help. He repairs the car successfully. The couple thank Swami. That guy gladly pays Swami Rs.1000. Swami refuses to accept it saying will not accept money for help.👏 That guy thrusts the money in Swami's pocket and drives off.

Swami buys food with the money earned and returns to the temple. He gives the food to Sara, Thenu and Rani. Rani asks what's all this. If we come to temple we should pray and leave but not eat Tiffin like this. Why are you thinking like this. Sara Thenu and Swami (STS) are confused (So are we viewers 😲) .. Rani tells Thenu and Sara come lets go home. (OMG.. she lost her senses.. 😭😭 ) How long do we sit here. Come lets go home. STS shocked. Rani continues, Akka would have come back from court by now. If she is not served hot coffee immediately she will get a headache and scream at point. She starts walking. Swami asks Sara and Thenu to eat and runs behind Rani. Rani asks where is the car. Where did the driver go. Call him. On the way back, I need to buy Rava for the making kichadi. Surya asked me for the same. Swami shakes Rani and asks what happened Rani ma. I am scared. Rani says don't panic this time I will ensure that correct amount of salt is added. Mama also likes it. We need to go home. Swami says are you not aware what happened and how we landed here. Rani says why didn't we bring Sara and Thenu along. The kids join them. Rani is surprised that Thenu and Sara have come. Kids are worried. Swami announces that Rani has forgotten everything. Rani says I haven't forgotten anything next week onwards Thenu exams and Wednesday after that Surya birthday. This time lets not cut cake and celebrate. Instead lets make Kanchipuram idly. Rani continues on how to make that idly. Swami bursts out crying.. Rani what are you talking. Sara joins the oppari session. Swami says first eat. Rani says we should go home and eat. Swami says first eat, then we can go home. Rani asks Thenu and Sara if they ate. Both reply Yes. Rani asks if Selvi ate. STS are shocked. Rani continues I packed Lemon Rice for akka. Wonder whether it was good or not. Please call point and verify. Thenu drags Rani to eat. Rani says who will eat at temple. I have lot of work at home. Swami and Sara break down crying. Swami says she has forgotten everything and remembers only the good times we spent. We need to meet a Dr ASAP. Rani eats and other look on.

Swami polambing to Sara that Rani has forgotten everything and decides to meet a dr ASAP. Sara consoles him and assures I will take care. Rani eats and others look on. Rani finishes. Sara asks if she needs something more. Rani says sapdalamnu sollitu why didn't you guys give me anything to eat. Give me something to eat. Thenu and Sara shocked. Thenu cries. Sara thalaila adichikittu cries. At the other end, Vani's condition worsens. Dr trying his best to treat Vani. Bhoomi, Surya and Gautam RKO (Round katti oppari). Gautam again threatens Bhoomi, ammakku ethavuthu aachu.. appanu parka matten. I will kill you. Surya drags him away. An upset Bhoomi sincerely prays. ⭐️

Jo's home, Angu poalmbing to Jo.. my son changed.. He begged me with teary eyes to walk off.. Jo feels this is yet another drama.. Angu says No.. As a mother I know when he acts. In teh past, if I couldn't recognize, he would tell me upfront before the act or after it. His tears were real this time. I have lost him. He has started feeling guilty for separating Vani and Rani. Jo still feel Bhoomi is disturbed coz Vani is sick. She says he is the only hold for us. We must not let him go off. 😡 🤢Poo walks in and thuppufies them. 👏 Poo scolds Jo.. I thought you would reform after you saw your hubby touch death and come back. But I was wrong. You possess a rotten brain. Are you two not ashamed of all time thinking of spoiling someone lives. Angu screams shut up, don't talk as if you know everything. Poo says I know, you were polambing about losing your son and my mom advising you not to let that happen.😡 If Jo faces this situation tomorrow.. Won't you suffer. What did Vani do to you. Why this revenge on her. She has been respecting you along inspite of the tortures you give her. 👍🏼 Didn't you see how amma suffered when her hubby was lost and found. Can you imagine what would have happened if my appa was lost forever. 👍🏼 Jo says don't talk beyond your limits. Do you know how my brother is suffering there inspite of pouring out all his earning for them. Poo says this is the joke of the day. 😆😆 You have bought a house in his money and torturing them constantly. 👏 No one there is like that. Who are you into interfere in their personal problems? 👍🏼 Even though Vani and Rani didn't talk to each other. They had a good understanding and were leading a very happy life.👍🏼 Instead of enjoying their beautiful relationship you have separated them and enjoying on that. Enna jenmam. 👏 Soon you guys reap for the sins committed. 👏 Jo screams. Poo says I am not scared of your attams. 🤗 My education and good character will save me. I have every right to question you. Selvi apoligizes to Kali for overriding him and walking off to search her mom. Kali taunts her. did you find your mother.. it was just a waste of fuel, time and loss of a days collection. Selvi says I searched for them, coz I had a responsibilty as a daughter and had a belief that I will find them. But my fate was otherwise. But I will not stop with my attempts. Kali taunts some more.. why wasn't the gr8 gautam, who could finish me off too without a trace, not able to find them. Selvi says he is trying his level best. he is torn between a critical mom at hospital and missing amma. I have come here to seek your help. Kali says I hate you and will never do anything that will please you. Selvi says I accept my fate as it is. I know your strength is the auto's you own. Only you can help me. I shall print flyers of my missing family members. Please permit me to post them on your autos. Even if one person gives some info I will be able to trace my family. Kali thinks.

Kali's House

OK she did not say hahaha, but that was the gist of what had happened in last night's episode. Scene continues with Selvi pleading with Kali to get his auto drivers carry posters of her family at the back of the autos. She says if someone manages to find her mother, then her periamma can be saved and Kali would have the puniam of saving two lives. Kali of course is contemptuous and tells her yevankku vendum pavam or puniyam? That going to cook rice? Now you know my strength, right? If I can do this for you, what will you do in return? Selvi stupidly asks what do you want? Just tell me and I will do it. Kali says divorce Rajesh. Selvi looks shocked.

Kali says why are you shocked? (So true...we viewers knew that this is what he would have asked. Manga Selvi didn't, apparently). This is nothing new, is it? You know this is what I wanted right from the beginning. You just say yes and no matter which corner of the world your mother is in, I will bring her for you. Selvi, the ignorant loosu that she is, says I don't believe this. (Why? We did and we do) All right, I am someone else's daughter but isn't Rajesh your son? Isn't his happiness important to you? Kali goes ballistic. When you leave him,, that day will be Deepavali for me...then he will see how much his father loves him. I was worried that he would never see his father's love, but now you have given me that opportunity,

Selvi tells him he is going to be disappointed and defeated because that will never happen. The marriage is only one part of their lives. Sethalum unga mathiri mosam ana appa irrkathu, sethalam Rajesh mathiri nalla purushan kidaikka mattan. She tells Kali that they have not had intimacy and Kali looks shocked at first and then starts smirking. 😡 Selvi tells him Shenba knew and she was so happy and jumping for joy in front of her and thought that she could use that to split them up. She asked a small favour from Kali but did not expect his response. Kali screams that she should have and again goes on that either he will chase her away or she will leave. Selvi says she will die as Rajesh's wife and Rajesh will die as her husband. The world is big and there are kind people out there. Somehow she will find her mother and save her periamma. Kali will regret what he said and his words will come back to haunt him. She apologises for disturbing him and walks off. Kali walks up and down thinking.

Temple

Morning. Everyone is sleeping but there is no Rani. Swami wakes up and finds Rani missing. He goes looking for her and finds her cleaning the entrance of the temple, preparing for kolam. She sees Swami and tells him to go buy milk as she wants to make coffee for Saravanan. Swami looks so shocked and speechless. Saravanan comes and Rani goes on as if she is at home. Saravanan gets angry (idiot) and drags her to the temple and shows Thenu sleeping. Saravanan and Swami tell her what happened and Vani threw them out of the house (which was for a reason but they dont seem to see that). Rani does not believe them and says her akka would not have done such a thing.

Thenu wakes up and sees the drama in front of her. She gets distressed on finding that something is wrong with her and goes to Rani and hugs her and cries "Amma, naan Thenu ma". Rani says yes I know and hugs her back. Swami and Sara are sobbing uncontrollably. (Prepare the tissues. 😭)

Hospital

Bhoomi calls the police and asks them to look for Rani and family. He asks them to keep it quiet and promises to send a photo of the family that he has in his mobile (Intha mathri ellam panni irruthu irukere, ahpah yean da nee eppidi kevalama nadanthu irruke?)

Mano and Poonkodi walk in. Mano asks his mama why he separated V and R. He cries when he sees Vani in that condition. P and the boys discuss what to do next. Gautham suggests that they should complain to the police. Bhoomi, like a child, says I have already done it. Both Gautham and Surya stare at him. Surya walks off. Bhoomi says if the police cannot find Rani, he will take out advertisements in the paper. Gautham too walks off in disbelief.

Bhoomi cries to Mano and Poonkodi and tells them that couldnt he change? He wants to find Rani, return her to Vani and go away. Then he thought to redeem his sins, he wants to live with Vani in happiness. But the kids dont want to believe him.

Freeze

Once again Radhikaa rocked as Rani. Seriously, like you all said, it was unexpected. She does not act mad or crazy, just that she has forgotten that part of her life. Brilliant acting. 👏

Prithvee too stood out in his role. It is not easy acting with Radhikaa and hold your own part but he did it very well. It was heartbreaking to see the shock and despair on his face. Manaas (Saravanan) needs to improve - his crying was put on. But Thenu (Neha) was excellent.

Bhaboos (Kali) was brilliant as the contemptible, merciless Kali. His looks, his demeanour, the way he delivered his dialogues - no easy feat but he grabs your attention. Poor Bhaboos - in real life, he is nothing like that but he always gets this kind of roles.

The plot is very good - totally unexpected. Rani's memory lapse was something we did not foresee. We all expected Kali to make that demand, but any other serial Selvi would have agreed, Kali would have made her promise that she won't tell Rajesh, she would make Rajesh's life miserable, Shenba will take this opportunity to be sympathetic and caring, Rajesh and Selvi will separate etc etc...how many times we must have seen this kind of story? But here, Selvi throws Kali's "offer" back in his face. Well done.👏

Cant waif for the next episode.

Makkalz: Apologies. I had spent quite a considerable time watching the episode (at least three times) to get as much information as I could, but the system crashed and I lost everything. 😡 So I am giving something much smaller but it would have covered the gist of it. Besides, it might actually encourage some of you to watch it. 😉

Hospital

Continues from yesterday where Surya and Gautham have walked off. Bhoomi is still polamburaning to Mano (Sivaji Mano) and Poongodi (Maha Lakshmi) . He is sad and frustrated that his own sons do not believe him. He does not blame them but says can't a man change? His love for his mother caused him to chase his brother away, he admits that. He asks Poongodi "At least do you believe me? Do you believe your Mama has changed? Do you see the truth in my words?" Poongodi just says "Yosikkiren, mama" and walks off. 👏

Bhoomi continues with Mano. Tells Mano that you can live as an orphan without anyone, but you cannot live when no one trusts you. He says he is yearning for his Vani to get up and talk to him. What is the point of his status, his wealth, his hard work? Not worth anything when his own kids have thrown him away. He goes on in this same vein. Blah blah blah. Mano does not say anything, just pats him on his shoulder and asks him to look after akka and walks off too. 👏

Swamy in the Sun

Swamy keeps walking in the sun. 😕 At one point, he gets so tired that he leans against a car to rest. Immediately the driver yells who is learning against his car? Swamy walks off then to a workshop and asks for a job.

The boss (the village headman in Sivasankari) conducts a really weird interview "Oon thol-ay partha mechanic thol-u mathiri teriyile?" (So Barack Obama vanthu velai ketta koodupingalo?). Swamy begs and cries and cries and begs. Boss asks him to repair a car - Swamy passes with flying colours (and a scratched hand). Boss says you are appointed. Swamy very hesistantly asks for an advance as he needs to take Rani to the hospital. Predictably, the boss yells at him and tells him off and orders him to go to work and maybe he'll give him Rs 200.00 at the end of the day. Swamy shuffles off in dejection.

Kali's House 😡

Kali is watching the telly. He is bored (it is the news, mentally challenging for him). He sees Selvi (Nikhila Rao) walking in and immediately switches off the telly and takes the newspaper. He pretends to read out loud a piece of news about a man who committed suicide with his wife and children. Selvi stands there looking stunned. He calls the "man" all kinds of names and throws the paper down in disgust and walks off.

Predictably Selvi runs and takes the paper and flips from page to page. Meanwhile Kali is hiding and watching her, smirking and gloating. (Great acting by Bhaboos). Shenba (Sree Devi) calls him and he shushes her. Then he goes to her and tells her that Selvi is coming and asks Shenba to play along. When Selvi comes out, the evil duo continue with their mind games, and Kali tells Shenba that not only he read it in the papers but also saw it in the news. A man, holding the hand of his wife had jumped into a river, together with two of his children. Only one daughter was not with them. Selvi runs off and switches the telly on. Both the evil uncle and niece are laughing in enjoyment. 😡 Selvi can't find anything and just sits there sobbing her heart out.

Selvi's mother-in-law Sura (Sangeeta Balan) returns to the house and finds Selvi sitting on the sofa weeping. She asks what happened and Selvi tells her what her "mama" had said. Sura yells for her husband and asks him whether he said that Selvi's mother had committed suicide. He denies saying that he had read in the news that a man and his family had committed suicide and Shenba exaggerates the story further. Sura of course see through their game and tells Selvi that they are doing this to irritate her.

She then turns on Kali and yells at him. Way to go, Sura. Calls him all kinds of names and insults him. Kali tries to yell back but Sura shuts him up "Neeyaelam oru manushan ya??" etc. You guys have to watch this scene. Both Kali and Shenba's faces were priceless. Sura takes Selvi away.

Temple 😭

Rani is sitting quietly, lost in her own world. She looks so child-like and innocence . Thenu (Neha) is sitting next to her. Sara (Manaas) comes over and Thenu tells him that she is scared and she does not know what's happening. She says "Mundhi elam Ranima pesuna, kettukonde irrukulam, ahnah ippe pesu thongunna bayama irruku". Why is all this happening to us? We are good people. Suddenly, Sara hears a voice, it is his friend. (Habba, at last, someone has found them).

His friend forces him to tell the whole story and then asks him to follow him to see a finance company man who will give him a part-time job. Sara tells Thenu that he has to go out for a short while. Thenu says ok but asks him to come back quickly.

Episode ends with Thenu making her mother to sleep on her lap and stroking her.

Continues

1. Once again, this episode is filled with great moments. Both Poongodi and Mano's reactions to Bhoomi, Kali's mind games with Selvi. Sura's retorts against Kali. Thenu's worries and the questions she asks. I am glad that Poongodi and Mano reacted the way they did and not accept Bhoomi's change of heart straightaway.

2. Dialogue. Poongodi's simple "Yosikkiren mama" to Thenu's references to Rani and Sura's attack on Kali in Chennai Tamil was brilliant. Though it was the workshop boss's dialogue on the skin that had me 🤣 though unintentionally, I am sure.

3. The plot is moving at a nice pace. There were no dragging moments in this episode although I felt like giving Swamy a hefty banana leaf lunch so that he has thembu and talks louder. Sara is forever crying. Honestly, I have never seen a man cry so much. I think more surprises are coming vis-a-vis the storylines.

4. My review won't be complete without mentioning Radhikaa's acting. Absolutely fabulous - although I am not sure whether "Nadigai Thilagam" is appropriate for her as I think the old actresses deserve it more. But seriously, she was just brilliant. Smiling, quiet, lost in her own world, oblivious to what was happening around her - your heart wrenches as you see the way she sits there and just looks around with a small smile. Little Thenu was also good. She has a lot of promise, that girl. Doesn't overact as Baby Shalini.
