In last nights' episode, Vaidehi performs the last rites for her father. But, where is her sister? How come she didn't come for their Dad's funeral?

the circumstances under which the last rites happened, it was obvious that vaidehi's sis was not going to be there. in fact even vaidehi made it just in time otherwise she would've also not been there.
