This story is based on real life incidents.... and it does happen in society still we dun know.... Just like abt aryan impotency neither his younger brother or his wife, or his two sisters know abt it..... I should not end this serial because it really shows us that how disgusting people are and how low they can stoop..

Think of women who are going through this problem in their life...Rather u should look at the positive aspects of the story like how women can stood out and actually fight for thier life just as vaidehi will fight and is fighting for her life with Aryan... How will she fight against injustice.... Think of the money power Jasinghs have got how will Vaidehi get out of this fake marriage... I know the story line is very different than other shows but they did not show any vulgar scene that normally public cannot watch... I dun think this topic is extreme for India.... MAny women who r facing this problem in real life do not even share with their family, at least seeing this serial will give women a kind of strength to fight back and Aruna mentioned this pt in one of her interviews....

I dun if anyone of u guys watch the movie JAAGO in which three men raped a 9 year old kid in the train... Another movie PAGE 3 in which high class people were intimate with little kids..... See all this thing does happen in real life.... dats wat they are trying to show in Vaidehi.. And at last as I agree with wat angel4ever mentioned i think we should all just calm down, and if this show is too much for u to handle, then just dont watch it...

Yes I agree with bsmartguy, theses kind of things that Aruna Irani is portraying in Vaidehi is real, things like this do happen and people just don't seem to understand that until they have either seen it themselves or faced it themselves, but Ekta does go to the extreme sometimes on her serials but not Aruna Irani, she is a really good director of these serials and they do happen! and as said before, if you don't like it, don't watch it... you have the freedom to make your choices of what you want to watch and don't and as far as it concerns with unrealistic, if you really looked at every person's lives, you will ALWAYS find that people do have stories in their lives that are bizarre like Vaidehi's, but you have the power to make your choices and everyone else does too, so you can't throw decisions on people but you may encourage opinions.

I couldn't agree more! India is not a country where such ruthless topics are introduced and shown on prime time tV. This is just a sick story with people having sick minds! Nothing else!!!

i think people r jus overreacting wit this show.
i dont see anythin wrong wit it xcept tat it has a bold theme. if u cant handle it then dont watch it. jus becuz its diff. from the regular ekta serials doesnt mean it shood be shut down. atleast u dont see people dyin n comin bak 2 life in vaidehi. we watch tv 4 entertainment n if u wanna watch somthin of virtue then watch the discovery or history channel.

dont get me wrong....i mean this in the nicest way possible. i'm sure ther r many other people out ther that just cant wait 2 see wat happens in vaidehi next.

NEW INFORMATION:

I understand that Ekta's serials are unrealistic, therefore, I do agree to that and sorta want to back off that. But, this post is not about Ekta, it is about the whole concept of Vaidehi.

I am a teenager and therefore, I am not embarassed to see this show and understand the problems; but the topic is just too extreme for India. I mean, our country does not permit blatant sex on TV and that is good; therefore, I believe that our country should not lose its main essence. People adore India because it is traditional and not as exposed in the sense of bodies. but arrona has not showed tht they are actually havign sex..she only showed tht neel went in vaidehi's room where ekta actually shows how her characters get raped n stuff..

I have seen stuff in USA that are very out of the marks; but that is the culture of this country; where India is not like that and hopefully, most of you agree that people who are sensible there do not want our nation's future to lie in the hands of people who want to abandon their main values and culture. well frm wht i knw mostly in india kids who r only 5 or 6 years old get raped by a man who is 40 or 50 years old..isnt dat really disgusting..dey rape girls whom dey shud worship🤢 where as in USA or canada or any other country i dun see dta happening alot...what sort of a culture is tht in india dat lil kids gets raped by mans who r 40??

~~~~~I am still watching this episode to see how extreme it can go; but what do we gain from this in a sense that the concepts seem to be of sex and impotency; those are the main themes that I have learned from this; along with the fact that sacrifice the women for the family's honor.
!!!!!! No liberal family that is as wealthy as the Jaisinghs would think of such dirty things; they would be realistic and get artificial insemination in Denmark or something, where no one is going to find out; and if they do, what is the problem? There are many people like Aryan in the world; he is not the first person!!!!! i agree wiht you on dis but dis is noly a show..its not like next tiem in real life a famiyl wud actually do dis..dis is jus for entrertaing ppl not teaching dem bad things...
it was good to read all ur views in this subject ..
ma view is that this do happen in reality, so why do we run away? we are living in this world where many bad things do happen to us n we ace them so this is one of the things and we have to accept it or change it if its in our power but it does happen many times.
Sony is showing the reality of life so i dont think Vaidehi should be close.
thanx
well shriman u see Ekta's shows are meant for everyone for little kids and older people..people of all ages enjoy her shows...but Vaidehi is appealing to teenagers and adults and maybe thats why it seem disgusting......I know India has changed over the last few years....but i dont find this surprising because us Indian's are trying to be like Americans!dont get me wrong here but if u just take the shows for example....In KSBKBT.....Bhoomi and Manthan hate Baa and hate the poojas and aarti's why and are spoilet brats???becuase they are trying to fit in with their crowd which consists of American wannabe Indians 😔 ,even in movies now days we see vulagrity and kissing scenes are a must in all movies now!!! 😔 🤢 so its a sign that Indians are changing ...and its not just India....most countries are trying to westernize their culture...but in that race they forget their own culture....
