Manish Raisinghan and Avika Gor have finally turned producers in a big way.

This Sasural Simar Ka pair has already made a trailer and a short film for an institution, but this time they have come together to make a short film. They also have plans of showcasing it at various film festivals.

The film titled Almost is in its post production phase at the moment. Actors Jasveer Kaur, Snehal Sahay, Ajay Chaudhary and Chaitanya Choudhury are starring in it. Jasveer and Ajay are playing the leads in this movie.

"The idea of making this film came from a fan (Renu Sethi) who is also a writer. I once bumped into her in a building lift and she spoke to me about this story that she had written. Avika and I liked the concept and offered to produce it for her. This is when we actually got working," said Manish.

When we asked to tell us about the story, he said, "In short, it's about following your heart with responsibility."
