One of the longest running shows, Uttaran, which was tipped to end in March after its ratings dipped considerably, has got an extension.
According to sources, the show has got a year-long extension as a result of the sudden rise in its TVPs. However, there are chances of it shifting to a new time-slot of 10.30 p as it's original slot of 10 pm will be occupied by producer Ekta Kapoor's show.m
Says a source from the show, "The crew has been informed of the development. The show was under the scanner, but it picked up recently and the channel has revoked its decision. It is not ending, but will get a new time-slot." While Tina Dutta, who plays Meethi in the show, said she has no such information, Rashami Desai aka Tapasya, said, "I think so. It's in the planning.
