Meeti: She is no sati savitri to say that she has to fullfill her grandmother's wishes. Take a reality check. When Mukta warned Meeti and the rest of the family against Akash, no one believed her, especially Meeti. She revolted and went ahead with the wedding. Later, when Mukta tried to tell Meeti that Akash really loved her, no one believed her, including Meeti. For once she should realize that she is a brainless, selfish, and full of false eyelashes!!
Meeti asks Vishnu to "play" engagement with her which he does. Did not know that Vishnu was har play doll without brains! Meeti had always been impulsive, and did what she wanted to do. Her impulsive decisions has always put her in a tight spot and the others in trouble. But vishnu?
Now, Meeti gives a lecture on how she is living her grandmother's dream and wishes. Wake up girl, tell the truth to the others. To fullfill one person's dream, you are spoiling 4 lives---your's, Mukta's, Akash's, and Vishnu's. Have the guts to accept the truth and speak out the truth. Marriage is not a game nor is it about fulfilling somebody else's dreams! It is about living with a person you love and a person who loves you back!
Also, what is this bullshit Meeti talking about trying to get Mukta and Vishnu together? Is Meeti's IQ so low that she does not understand that she is the very reason why they are not together. They will never get together unless she speaks out the truth that she loves Akash and the marriage with Vishu is just a comedy of errors! Get them together by sending them out for a trip... Bimbo!!!
Both Meeti and Vishnu are now making the people they loved suffer for the mistakes they have committed, for their own believes, the sacrifices they are doing for another person, and then blaming the others (read Akash and Mukta) for not understanding their situation. Don't expect others to understand you. For a change, try understanding the sentiments of the others!
Inshort, Meeti and VIshnu are not bound by marriage. They are bound by their false ego and the lies that they have woven together for stupid and invalid reasons!
Vishnu: I really don't understand this man. He loves Mukta but wants to stay in a loveless and meaningless marriage just out of respect for "Ichha didi" What crap. If he really respects her, he should let her daughter lead a happy life. He tells Meeti that they will end the marriage when she tells everyone the truth. Why put this on her alone? They both have to do this task together. I find Vishnu a hypocrite. What the hell is he trying to prove to Akash by holding Meeti's hands and having a dinner in front of him?
Stop showing that marriage is a game. Show that a marriage a bond that can be nurtured with love, respect, truthfulness, and loyalty between the partners. Don't give out wrong messages to the the young generation of today!!
