Rashmi Desai's expected return into Colors' Uttaran, produced by Filmfarm Productions has grabbed all the limelight in the last few weeks. AsTellychakkar.com earlier reported, Tapasya will return during Mukta's (Sreejita De) wedding to Tej (Kiran Karmarkar), the episode which is to go on air on 7 November (2012). Also, this will be the day when Uttaran will hit the milestone of completing 1000 episodes.

As per our source from the sets, Rashmi was scheduled to start shoot for Uttaran from today (2 November). However, the actress has postponed her shoot by a day.

Want to know the reason? Well, today happens to be Karva Chauth (wherein a wife fasts for her husband's long life and breaks her fast after performing puja on seeing the moon) and Rashmi has apparently kept a fast for her actor husbandNandish Sandhu. She had a special request to make that she wanted to spend the day with her husband, rather than going through the hectic schedule of shoot. And it seems that the channel and production house obliged and have delayed her shoot by one day.

We tried contacting Rashmi Desai, but could not get through to her.

Our source from the Uttaran set confirms that the lady will report on sets tomorrow (3 November) to shoot her comeback sequence.
