Do the daily SOAP has more impact than movies

I am wondering that though we have seen many movies that are tragic or there are so bad female villain or too much suffering heroine..the movies dont affect our mind like the daily SOAP..Is it because we watch them everyday or is it because we discuss about it more than the movies. Not once I have thought of a movie for more than a day after watching it, but though I know that even the serial is just fiction, sometimes this puts me in thinking mode for long. Is it just me ?

We watch them to a certain period of time that we get involved emotionally sumwhere to sumthing, its not a show or just a day thing aldo they r telecasted to our houses coming to fami rooms n We talk about it n creatives play on shock factors in every epi in sumway to keep us hooked n not finish anything to keep serial going! That all adds to huge drama n sum headache!
