Rashmi Desai aka Tapsya
25 year old Rashmi Desai is surely popular as the sweet and schemeing Tapasya Thakur in Uttaran but she has been acting for quite a while. Rashmi started her career quite young with a small role in Ravan on Zee TV, Sony's Meet Mila De Rabba TV, Pari Hoon Main, Ssshhh...Phir Koi Hai and few Bhojpuri films before Uttaran happened to her and catapulted her into the orbit of successful and popular television actors.
Rashmi hasn't stuck to just acting but tried her hand at comedy with Comedy Circus and Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla, tried dancing in shows like Zara Nachke Dikha too. She has won numerous awards for Best Actress Popular and Best Negative Actress. Rashmi is a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer and married her co star Nandish Sandhu in Feb this year.
