@Aditiji. Even I had the same feeling. Tappu will be too ill to sit in Puja so the Pooja will be cancelled. Since Nani is going to do her attack on Ichcha both for y'day incident as well as her old tactic of Ichcha not being mother🤪, Mai also will not like Veecha doing the Puja so it will be cancelled.

This way Veer will be saved from all brickbats😛

Infact, IMO, he may suspect this as a ploy by tapasya and nani to make him sit in the pooja. He knows both about iccha and tapasya and what they are capable of. 😛
