Ichcha: After Vansh's death Ichcha of Uttaran on Colors married his brother Veer. Veer's mother and grandfather were against this marriage and still treated Ichcha as Vansh's widow. She was forbidden from entering the kitchen and was often humiliated. Ichcha is still treated indifferently by Veer's family.

I have always maintained that Ichcha's character was never given prominence asides from her always giving in to everyone's demands.

Strong is probably the view of the person who wrote the article.

But here I would like to give my own point of view...........Whereas I would not use the term a 'Strong Bahu' for Ichcha but I will maintain that it takes a certain strength of character to be able to live in a house where except for her husband she is treated like dirt and as an outcast

Now I know she has chosen this for herself but maybe, if you want to give her character the benefit of the doubt, she thought at the time she could win over Mai and Daddaji.............she was wrong..............yet she has still stayed on..............

I personally feel all the characters have been shown as extreme but I think in some way one must give this much credit to Ichcha that she is able to survive in that atmosphere. Some may call her silly and some strong. Depends on who looks at it and in which way.
