After the immense success of his track in Uttaran as Vansh, Rohit Khurana became one of the most sought after actors in the television industry.
He did some cameo appearances before he got finalised for UTV's next on STAR Plus. The show is apparently a remake of Tamil hit Kolangal. The show revolves around three sisters where the central character if played by the eldest one who fights against all the odds for her family. The latest development however is that Khurana has opted out of the show for greener pastures. He has apparently got a plum project in hand and is focusing on that.
Informs our source, ''Rohit has opted out of the show and now we are hunting for his replacement. He has got another offer which is more promising according to him so he has requested the production house to relieve him from the contract. Apparently, the production house has delayed the shoot and the actor had already informed them about his unavailability during the end of this month. The shoot of the show was to commence from the first week of September which didn't happen. He has prior commitments and can't ignore them.''
When contacted, Khurana said, ''I am still in discussion with UTV and hope to wort out date issues.''
We too hope that things get sorted and we get to see our favourite Vansh back in action. However, production house's hunt for a replacement is hint enough to suggest that he is out of the project.
