Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference
That's what I felt on seeing some of the sensible lots getting drawn into incessant arguments with Tappu lovers. My sincere advise is - Don't get yourself worked up if people fail to see reason in spite of your innumerable attempts, you must ask yourself - are they worth the trouble ?
Even terrorist supporters have a strong sense of being on the right path and no matter how you reason with them, questioning their loyalties, they have justification for everything. Ultimately they are what they are wired to be. The fact that some of IF members choose to see a criminal like Tappu in good light shows something about them.
Well, you all tried and I swear you tried hard, but its becoming quite obvious now that you can't change some people. All you can do is just wash your hands off them.
Ultimately our collective thoughts materialize into social psyche. And I am so glad that the majority of members have their sense of right and wrong intact. That's a silver lining and additional bonus is witnessing talents of girls like Shonu, Shivani, Jyoti and others. Good luck and let your talents bloom. Be the strong women you are despite unhealthy depictions as in Uttaran.
For those inclined towards reading, I must recommend some of our well known Indian authors who have such strong women characters, its mindblowing to read about such women. Like Rabindranath Tagore's short stories - Vision, A Wife's Letter, Munshi Premchand's Nirmala, SevaSadan, Godaan and for ofcourse Saadat Hasan Manto's stories. And you'll realize the current set of serials are such a blot.
