there used to be an execution method that was in practice.. asphyxiation with cyanide - the criminal would be asked to sit on a chair inside a gas chamber where they will open the lethal gas. the person who is to die has to take part actively by breathing in the poison up on orders from the athorities. the more he delays, the harder it will be for him - thats what they tell him...
