December 4, 2009 Written Update
Gunwanti is pleasantly surprised seeing Chanda, Veer's widowed cousin, at the door. Chanda, who is a Krishna bakht says that her Kanha (Krishna) brought her here. She goes on about how her in-laws are terrible to her and so she came here to stay for only a few days. Veer, Umed and Taps come downstairs. Chanda praises Tapasya and Gunwanti tells Taps to show Chanda to her room, since she's going to be staying here for a while.
Chanda looks wide eyed at the room she is brought to, dazzled by the splendor. When Chanda goes on to talk about how a widow like her doesn't deserve any of this, and that she wud be fine even sleeping on the floor... Tapasya is confused and explains how her Nani is a widow, but she sleeps on the bed. Chanda is surprised hearing how Tapasya's nani eats all sorts of foods. Gunwanti tells Chanda that Taps is from the city, and such customs are not so important there. She also adds that Chanda shudnt take herself as a widow here, and she shud feel free to cook and do anything else. Taps is enthusiastic at the idea of getting some help in the kitchen, and suggests that Chanda can help her out. Chanda refuses, saying it wud be a sin if she cooked, but she can instruct Taps and teach her all sorts of recipes while Gunwanti is away. Tapu rolls her eyes.
Veer tells his dad that he talked to Dr. Rao from the rehab center, and he told him that Vansh needs a reason in his life that will give him the will to live, something that can pull him out of the addiction he is caught in.
Nani is packing food for Jogi. Divya stops her, saying that in such a delicate condition, its better if Nani doesn't go see him. Nani is angry but agrees.
Ichcha leaves the basti, after failing to find Paras. She is in an auto on her way home when Veer is in the car behind her. Veer notices her dupatta on the verge of flying out of the auto, oblivious to the fact that it is Ichcha's. He honks. The auto stops and Veer gets out of his car, beginning to tell the person inside that her dupatta was going to fly away... but stops, seeing Ichcha inside.
