Not bachpan but his early twenties must have been worst. I mean Simran eloped 6 years back so he must be 20 or so back then. Boys of that age do act like idiots. Constant pressure of reputation and prestige he must have definitely been through trauma.

Makers have badly failed the execution , they could have shown alot of backstory for the three leads. Ainvi track badal badal ke khelte rehte hai. Not everyone has the capability of understanding characters , it's the writers who need to convey what exactly each character is and why they are that way. Jasfa stans , Tejo haters and Fateh haters are the result of this poor execution. (Ofc aunty Malviya's weed too has effect)
