I never bothered much about Fateh laying in thoughts of his ex while being married to another woman. What bothered me was that , Fateh was ignoring the presence of a woman like Tejo for a b#tch like Jasmine!

What was unrealistic about jasfa was Fateh falling for jasmine. That's just absurd.

About marriage, it was supposed to happen. Like you don't get married to anyone the same day you're dumped. Too much baggage and bad memories.

F didn't ignore tejo's presence, that's why pendulum. Had it been someone else, there would've been no conflict.

Jasmine was never F's love. Not even before the marriage. She was his biggest obsession, two years are a LOT. Even before diwali party, there are several scenes where you notice that there's something lacking in his expressions.

The strongest proof show has given that F loves T, and not J, is how he's taking the breakup. With J while he pretended to move on, it's more because of his ego. He's not able to let her go with her dreams happily. With T, he's hurt but he's taken a step back because he knows he doesn't deserve her. He's a man with grey side, he wouldn't normally have any problem in breaking two up, BUT he made sure that Tejang stay together because this time, he truly loves tejo.

Ironically enough, while he talked about shiddat and ibadat wala ishq to jasmine, he loves Tejo that way, without even realising or telling. When you love someone truly, you do have the strength to let them go if they want to, despite the fact that it can wreck you completely.
