Episode Dissection 7 July

Ok guys.... here's it.

Jasso family scene...Maami asks her to clal Gippy but she manipulates the situation. Khud dekh lena

Worried Tejo in Virk house.

Fateh comes out of bathroom. Asks her if she is ok. She says yes and goes in to change. All the while worried for Jasso.

She changes and comes out. Fateh brings food for her. Tejo asks him if he can ever forgive Jasso. He says that we forgive those we want to be in contact with. He never wants her in his...he stops and says...their life.

But Tejo says, that Jasso is her sister and she cannot cut her off. Her parents remain in tension for her and looking at them, even she is tensed.

Fateh consoles her and says if she wants, he will forgive Jasso. His hands are trembling and Tejo holds them. She asks if he is sure. Fateh tells her not to worry for him but asks her to be wary. People like Jasmine always bring trouble and he doesn't want Tejo to suffer.

This is an interesting equation that is developing. I must say good character growth of Fateh. Despite being an over emotional person, Tejo's company grounds him. And once he is grounded, Banda is very perceptive. This is because of the comfort and security he feels with Tejo. No one wants to lose that and somewhere he knows that Jasso can snatch that away from him. This makes him want to hold onto Tejo unconsciously being it doing what she wants or warning her away from Jasso. Somewhere, I feel, Fateh is going to be Tejo's saviour this time because Jasso is playing a one sided game with Tejo. She is focusing on Tejo's weaknesses and reactions. She has not counted Fateh to be an active player in the game. This will surprise her and make her lose this time because Fateh, the trump card will enter at the last moment and get his Tejo out of the pickle she will find herself in. This cements that separation won't be now. It will be later when Jasso will take into account both Fatejo as active players and plot against their weaknesses. Right now, she is deluding herself that Fateh is still focused on her, and is only pretending with Tejo, unaware that he has latched onto Tejo like a vine. The fact that Fateh is ready to forgive Jasso for Tejo speaks a lot about her importance in his life. Banda will not let Tejo go.

Tejo asks Fateh if people speak the truth when they are drunk. Fateh says...they do somewhat. And Tejo thinks that Jasso was telling the truth the previous day.

Fateh is actually the catalyst in pushing Tejo into trouble. He was the one because of whom Jas was beaten up and the situation forced out a yes from Tejo. He was the one for whom she had to take a stand in front of her family to let her sister unite with him. He is the one whom she had to marry keeping her wishes aside. And now he is the one who cemented the realisation that Jasso was telling the truth, because he said yes to her question. And Tejo trusts Fateh. It is this trust that is the crux of the Show. Tejo trusts people. She trusted Fateh many a time, preferring him to be Jasmine's suitor then others who already had jobs in Canada. She trusted Fateh more than Jasso ever did. She trusted all his ridiculous attempts at moving on and helped him and she trusted him today, which will lead her to a bigger mess than she is in now - making her trust Jasso. Also this will be a good lesson to Tejo. After this she is never going to trust Jasso again.

Jasso Tejo scene. She returns Tejo a jewellery set that Tejo had ordered for herself but Jasso had kept. Jasso says she is learning to look for others too. If Tejo forgives her, she asks her to take it back. Tejo takes it back.

Jasso is aiming for a trade. I am giving you your things. Give me back Fateh. Unlike this material things, Fateh is a human being and Banda will not be very agreeable to this.

Jasso fakes a call .....Bla..Bla...with Gippy. I don't care....watch it please. Jasso requests her to allow Fateh to meet Jasso and Gippy so thay doubts can be cleared from Gippy's mind that they are over. All this is a ruse to spend time with Fateh. AfterTejo goes away, Jasso thinks that If Tejo persuades him with all her heart, Fateh will give in because he is playing good husband now a days.

What she doesn't realise is that Fateh is not playing. He is actually being a supportive husband to Tejo. And He gets persuaded because Tejo is a pure person at heart. Something wily Jasso will never understand.

Tejo goes to talk to him but he goes away as his father calls him. A good scene regarding investors, business between father and son and grandfather. Bauji tells him that his wife makes him work. NimPreet make faces. Fateh says it's a good thing. What matters is if work gets completed. Bauji says it was the right decision to let Tejo work.

At that time Tejo shouts and Fateh runs to her. NimPreet 😂

Fateh enters the bathroom and sees her spread eagle on the floor in a bathrobe. He shuffles a bit and then realizes that she is in A BATHROBE and runs out of the bathroom 😂

Tejo is exasperated. He pokes his head in, hiding his eyes and she calls him in, all the while scolding him for leaving the floor wet. He brings an ointment and hands it to her without looking. She asks what is it, he says...'any ointment' 😂😂

Tejo is irritated and in a lot of pain. She tells him she is hurt and he is giving her any ointment🙆

Fateh stammers, jumps from one place to another, crouches and gets up again, all the while wondering what to do as Tejo yells in pain. He is like God kaha phasa diya.

He finally picks her up and she moans as the movement hurts her. He asks if she is very hurt. She remarks sarcastically that she likes laying down on wet bathroom floors and chilling. Fateh's agrees to it and his face relaxes 😂...he actually thought she was being serious. Tejo rebukes him again.

He brings her to the bed and lays her sideways. He begins to prod her. Now Tejo is awkward. She says she is ok but he doesn't agree. He cuts the side of the bathrobe and prods her injury. He adds an ice pack to it and makes her turn. She resists and questions if he is a doctor. He says he is a boxer and knows injuries. If it is severe, she might have to go to a hospital. Tejo is frightened and says an absolute no to hospital 😬

Fateh takes care of her and jokes that at least her hip isn't broken or else she would have had to use crutched her entire life. She says she would hit him with the crutches.

This scene is very meaningful. Tejo fell because of Fateh's mess and Fateh pulled her out of it. Tejo had to marry Fateh because of Fateh's one sided linear love towards Jasso and then the mess he made by not telling her directly of the job. Again this time, Jasso is Fateh's mess which will pull Tejo down into the quicksand. She will fall and injure herself and it will be Fateh that will help her out. He is the one she called out for and he is the one who will help her save herself and also treat her properly.

On the other side, as Tejo is bedridden, Jasso is enjoying with Gippy. This juxtaposition left a bad taste in my mouth. Whatever happens, Jasso deserves any bad fate she faces because look at how vindictive she is being. One side she is enjoying with Gippy and tells him that he has not idea what Jasmine Sandhu is capable of. Gippy proposes to get married soon. And on the other hand, she says she is unable to wait to meet Fateh.

However, she will get her toll.

We reap what we sow and when times comes Fateh will choose Tejo over her any day and Gippy won't leave her without repercussions too. When we dig a pit for others, destiny digs one for us too. That is exactly what is going on with Jasso. She will get what she deserves.

I have yet to watch the episode but can Jasmine do what she wants to do... so that the story move forward a little 🤔

Regarding Fateh forgiving Jasmine, I remembered what Taylor Swift once said "you don't need to forgive, you don't have to forget to move on, you just become indifferent and then move on"

At some point, if Jasso wasn't Tejo's sister, she would have become a mere memory.

I watched the bathroom scene, if they didn't think too much it wouldn't have been that awkward 😆

I'm waiting for Jasmine to do some drama. I'm tired of her boring manipulations.

She is a player with no substance. Sometimes you just like to watch a negative character play and manipulate everyone and think "wow, he is great". Here, I'm like get over with it so that the story moves forward 👍🏼

Ooh it is a good idea. Tbh if I were to rewrite the story, I guess I would have shown that jasmine did marry gippy without being obsessed with fateh, goes to Canada, has really bad experiences there, and maybe then becomes obsessed with fateh. This would have given fatejo more time to rely on each other and jasmine to get over her canada.

I am not able to process where her Canada obsession went to suddenly and how an innocent girl suddenly turned into a vamp. Would have digged it more if the bad experiences in Canada turned her like that. Also, I am not able to digest that how fateh has really started relying on tejo so much. Its not sudden but I feel it was not transitioned that smoothly either.

Current track is being dragged too much, though I am enjoying fatejo scenes, it is still irritating to see the story getting stagnant while it was on a good pace earlier.

Gosh I didn't realize I was reading a spoiler for today's episode (Yes I was totally blind to the heading and didn't know today is 7th July😆)

I like how you completely gloss over Jasso's scenes, even I fast forward the parts where she begins bullshitting her way through her problems.

Fateh reassuring Tejo sounds like such a bonding moment, I did fantasize about Fateh being the one to open Tejo's eyes regarding Jasso's true colours and I feel like this might turn out to be true! (I'm rooting for you Fateh even if I still don't like you) But I'm also sad because it means that Fatejo seperation will be delayed! More heartache for the viewers and Tejo!!!😕

Jasso giving Tejo her things back right now is such an infuriating moment, like if Fateh wasn't concerned are you telling me you'd never return Tejo her stuff ever? God I'd never want such siblings, Fateh is still just a tool for Jasso isn't he, a tool to satisfy her hurt ego.

I actually like this story! From friendship to love without the excess drama, something that itv would never pick😆
