It's not much, but just an observation, and I would like to hear your thoughts about this. I think the show depicts two kinda relationships, through JasFa and FaTejo.

In case of JasFa, it's very teenaged romance. Fateh found her cute, stalked her, and proceeded to woo her. They both don't mind crazy stuff because that's what they bring out in each other. Their relationship, they are very close without any intimacy. And there are no thoughts, no ideas behind them apart from for Jasmine a relationship means a way to achieve her dreams. Fateh thinks love means fulfilling every wish of your loved one.

Now in Fatejo's case, they're destined to be together. They know each other, and their aspirations, thoughts and ideas. They are close friends. They can get involved in each other's activities( Tejo playing games, Fateh helping her in the play). They're the kinda couple who grow together old, and hold each others' hands even when they are eighty or ninety, and fall in love more with each other everyday.

Honestly Jasfa wouldn't be that bad if they're very young teenagers and they had the chance to grow as individuals. Then they would have been that annoying first/second relationship about which you think and cringe. However, we know ITV doesn't approve of complex relationships, and emotions, and to admit that sometimes people date just because someone is hot/cute, that's very unsanskari. in reality, that's normal. That's a part of being human and growing up.

Exactly. I think I said it in a previous post I wouldn't have minded if Jasmine introspects and realises where she went wrong, trying to improve herself.

Tejo would have made it work with any good and kind person.

This is such a good analysis. Unfortunately ITV lacks maturity to show this onscreen but it’s okay. We’ll make do with the discussions we get on the forum.

You have put them so nicely!

They started of well in showing these two relationships and it's true all high school romances don't last forever and people do get over it instead of running behind it
