last weeks episodes were better than the previous week but we still had the anjor nonsense and they was dragging on fri-sat episodes. Audience surely is not connecting to the story or new time slot. YTG is getting 1.6 at that slot, so can Udaan if they pull up their socks and write something appealing. Social awareness is all fine but audience at 7pm want something more.

This week we had KC and bomb drama as well as hospital, lets see we get. But Udaan teams need to open their eyes. They need to pick up

KS start has been low. Audience 2nd on slot along wit mera sai. We started off with 1.3 at this slot, after that we lost viewers.

channel need to air longer promos

overall trp is disappointing

Here is what I think.

Four weeks trps are around 1,3-1,1 (not counting last week 1 coz part of that decrease is coz of festivals) and 0,1 people who weren't watching during Navratri come back after.

Ever since time slot change drama is on high level and story is moving fast. Each week could have been at least one track.

Udaan had minimal promotions for these four weeks only 11 sec promos. Means Udaan on this slot on its own can grab 1,1 trp.

There is no need for new track. Makers should only continue with this track little slowly. Reduce drama quotient and bring more balance between emotional scenes and drama.

The rest is on Colors now. I think Udaan established with 1,1 trp now and if Colors wants more (there is no question, they want) they should pay more attention to the show. Normal duration of promos and regular airing will be enough. Some special episodes here and there are not bad idea, but only and only if they are not out of blue and if they don't happen like every week. I think Udaan KC special and Saturdays mahasangam are good idea from Colors side.

I don't know what is reason for high drama by makers at first I thought it was wish to bring some of old Udaan's audience but am not sure now. I just know it has to reduce. We have wonderful leads, and after long time great vilians. Now they should continue the track with some normal speed and Colors need to do their part and I think trps can rise.

For four weeks Udaan is unable to affect rival shows trp. And it's absolutely not coz of content of the show coz viewers are not even giving a chance to see udaan. Here I think it's upto Colors to promote the show regularly and makes people think about switching off from YTG to Udaan.

i personally feel the track has failed to click, bec in the first week we got 1.3 which was not bad. Audience started to leave after that.

They need drama but their main focus should be emotions and Sukor. last week we had kidnapping but the episodes could been better formed.esp fri and sat. Sat is affecting our trps for sure, bec the show already struggling during week

They need a revamp.

They should send anjor away somewhere and show Sukor in a different light.

@Ruby - TRP is calculated from Sat-Fri. Not Mon-Sat. So last Saturday's ratings will be included with this week's. So this trp is for episodes of 20th Oct to 26th Oct.

Time only was not given to udaan to settle in new slot.

At starting juncture itself if higher trps are expected, if every week its put to test on trp, and on game of In or Out,

then the makers and writers cannot think of in a normal phase and with peace of mind to come up with something interesting..And that hurrying might hv resulted in a higher drama quotient epis, which were OTT at times.

first the dilemma whether to target new or old viewers, they should decide, high drama in everyday track to attrack new ones is not needed, a medium phased sukor centric track will get them the old viewers which is far enough to out do other shows in current slot ..bcoz the number of prime time slot viewers for udaan wuld had been higher..if they only stick to show, then to lead 7pm slot, that will be easy i think..

sandy thanks for the clarification.

i dont think the slot is working for udaan. The writer needs to make many amendments if they are planning to continue. This anjor misunderstanding chakor angle was a major turn off i feel, they was no need to show her that way, instead they could have focused on all things. trps fell when they started showing her brattish and excess focus on her role. No one wants to watch such kids.

Also the promos being only 10 sec is such a ridiculous approach. no one will notice them. They need to air appealing promos which have 20-25 sec duration and promote the show in effective manner.

i still feel a good sukor track can work in the shows favour and they will pick and can be the slot leader.

Star Plus launched KZK with huge and unique promotion strategies and with an ensable cast but its TRP are average. Then Karnsangini again mytho show with popular faces but it opened low. Only kulfi and Yeh rishta in top 10

At colors Bepanaah with such popular stars and also nice concept in initial days is struggling big time in trps and DEMSA with popular star cast didn't manage to enter top 20 after 4 weeks too. Only Shakti and Nagin in top 10.

But Zee TV has rarely any show which was launched with very popular star cast. All its shows except 1 or 2 are doing great including new shows guddan, raabta and YTG. Zee doesn't need mahasangams, popular faces, revamps, frequent leaps all their shows have such a loyal fanbase they can continue any track or villans for years and still viewers enjoy the dragging. All their shows are either slot leaders or at 2nd position on slot.
