IMO it can because it's different and there hasn't been a historical show on any of the big channels for some time, but it all depends on the writing.

There are two questions for Colors, where it wants to air the new show and which show to axe, it isn't necessary that the answer is the same for both questions.

Times News network is usually reliable. But if there are any changes in the plan they'll update their news too. Just like they did with the krip suri & nazim case. They were right about the leap too. So I think the current plan is to end the show.

Did anyone read the article because when they published news about BP going off air it was all hearsay.

MUMBAI: Colors' popular drama Udaan is soon going to shut shop.

After a successful stint of four years, the makers have planned to give the show a smooth closing. The daily soap completed 1129 episodes last night.

TellyChakkar has exclusive information that the show will bid adieu to its loyal fans on 28 September.

Daastan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali will replace it from 2 October.

The show is produced by Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and is based on his unreleased movie of the same name. It is also one of the longest running daily soaps on Colors. Meera Deosthale and Vijayendra Kumeria play the primary characters.

I like the SMOOTH closing part. I hope that's the way the story is wrapped up if it is going to be. It needs to be convincing.
