To me Chakor-Vivaan friendship is an illusion just like their love.
First I don't consider them childhood friends, a childhood friend is someone who you know since a young age and you grow up with, but these two only knew each other for a brief period, less than three years and missed most of the transitional period into adulthood. People change a lot between 10 and 20.

Secondly, just as Bini said, when you meet someone who you haven't met for such a long time, usually you don't become friends again, it's usually awkward, more than reviving the old friendship, you realize how far you've grown apart.

So how do I explain their current bond, it's nothing more than unity of purpose mixed with Chakor's jagat mata nature. I'm not saying they aren't friends but it isn't as strong as they both think.

Ruby am Suraj fan. I was not part of forum that time but I was so bothered by his scenes with Imli. Not all Suraj fans are blind to not see his mistakes. Maybe I shouldn't say blind... not every Suraj fan is that much attached to him that he/she doesn't think about his doings.

But am Chakor fan also. And now am bothered with her mistakes. Which are mistakes in my pov.

When they risked with Suraj - Imli they lost many fans.

What if now they start losing fans because they are risking with Chakor - Vivaan childhood friendship closeness.

You can say it's just my pov that this closeness is wrong. And I can agree. If disappointed too much I will quit. But what if am not only one?

Krupy, we need to understand that the makers don't care much about fans' opinions. It's the actors who care more about the fans. And the actors don't have much say in the story. You must have read what ekta said recently. The sooner we get that the better for us. For them it's all about the trp audience... trp audience doesn't think or analyse like fans. They just take one episode at a time & see how it makes them FEEL. For fans too at the end of the day it's all about how we FEEL about the show. But the 2 approaches are different. For the makers, if they try to please the fans the trp audience might not give them trp. It's showBIZ after all. They aren't doing justice to sukor's story which they themselves created. And it's sad to watch.

I thought the bedroom scene portrayed Chakor in a bad light, while Suraj does make occasional attempts to reach out to them, Chakor never does that.
So she finds Suraj checking on Vivaan and instead of offering an olive branch by saying that she knew he can't stay angry for long, she starts lecturing him about how he did wrong with Vivaan, and when Suraj says that he isn't as bad as she thinks she didn't tell him that she doesn't think he's bad. There are chances to decrease the tension in their relationship and she's missing them. Having the whole conversation revolving around Vivaan is a bad move and when Suraj moved the discussion to him, she didn't respond, she isn't listening.

It's sad to see her thinking about Vivaan and what he's going through and ignoring Suraj, although Kasturi cautioned her and Suraj himself told her that he thinks that the two of them are lost in each other. Chakor isn't listening to Suraj or Kasturi, she only listens to Vivaan. I know it's because of the mission but it's sad to see Chakor so self absorbed and listening only to those who agree with her.

All she does with Suraj is lecture him, it's mostly for his own good but she's neglecting his emotional needs, they don't have normal conversations that doesn't involve Imli or Vivaan, something non-controversial. Preparing his milkshake and his favorite food isn't enough, a maid can do that, she needs to reach out to him.

If it was aditya, these childhood memories are justified.
Bcoz i always liked little chakor and aditya and their bond.
I never felt any special friendship between chakor and vivaan. If it was friendship, how can they bcom lovers.
In present, what they r showing is vikor not as childhood friends but the past lovers.Chakor is not behaving like that, but with this vivaan they r seemed to be like.
Paras should not have returned.
I think he quiitted for getting hero role in any serials,he waited and he did'nt get.So came back😡

Suraj has already accused chakor of infidelity so it shouldn't really matter if she clarifies about anything anymore

I really don't see when the hell did Suraj accused Chakor of infidelity...
and maybe those accusing Suraj are unaware of tye harsh reality of ral life "of how an Indian husband born and brought up in rural life behaves when he accuses his wife of infidelity"

Suraj hasn't accused Chakor of infidelity, Chakor certainly doesn't believe so.
If he did he wouldn't be there in Vivaan's room to check on him and he wouldn't be trying to explain himself to Chakor.

It's CVs fault trying to glorify Chakor-Vivaan friendship, they're acting as if it's the first time they're meeting after their childhood.
They're willfully ignoring that this friendship was tested after the 10 year leap and there was nothing special about it, it wasn't strong and was lacking in trust. The only highpoint was Chakor helping vivaan get rid of his addiction.

Chakor wasn't there for Vivaan when he was jobless or when he was accused of molestation, he wasn't that caring or understanding when he found out she hid Ranjana's role in killing his father or the way he broke to her the news about Suraj being the father of baby #2.

I know that this isn't the same writer, but she can't just wipe off two years to suite her narrative.

Chakor doesn't need to prove to Suraj that she doesn't love Vivaan, infidelity isn't the issue, but she needs to show him that he and Saanvi are and will always be her top priority, just like she cares about her friend's suffering, she should care about Suraj's.
Instead of the excessively long friendship scene, it would've been better if they showed a Chakor-Saanvi scene to mirror Suraj-Saanvi scene or even Chakor talking to Chandu ji about her troubles.
