Suraj didn't even fight with her or scolded her, he lost his temper and raised his voice it happens, Chakor has scolded him many times in public.

Suraj was right about Karan but Chakor is right about Imli and this time the stakes are higher because it's Saanvi. Suraj will regret how he's treating Chakor now. Having Chakor always right is unrealistic, Suraj is no fool he was always shrewd. Even if they showed Chakor being always right, fans will blame Suraj and say he always puts their lives in danger and is in constant need of Chakor's help to survive.

It's true that after Suraj got his memory he has had a bigger role to play, especially after the 1.5 years leap but that has already started to change. They aren't ignoring Chakor or degrading her, it's a variation in the track.

I still get angry remembering how Suraj got his memory, lying in a ditch beaten up by villagers only to be saved by a flying MS. The track was reduced to a superwoman wife saving her husband as if he was a lost pet, no redemption to ghulam Suraj and no consideration to his suffering. Even before that, the way he reacted to Chakor's friendship offers or when Imli told him that Chakor killed his father, his actions weren't meant to get sympathy and they didn't.

The big change since Suraj got his memory back is that Chakor has become too emotional, before the leap she froze a number of times: she needed Gauri to divert the goons from Kumud, her initial reaction when Paakhi fell in the well and how she stayed to pray entrusting Suraj to save Paakhi-Gauri.

After the leap she's become too panicky: in the mall, in Kashmir, about Imli, even her reaction to Vivaan's entry was too much. They need to tone down her reactions, yes she's worried but she should stop shaking and stuttering. I'd be happier if she's angry and shouting.

I still feel the writers are partial towards imli suraj characters post the 1.5 yr leap. Chakor character has been sidelined and they put no effort in writing for her. Trps falling but they don't realise their shortcomings.

I have no issues with the way she reacted for vivaan comeback yesterday because it covered all aspects of shock, emotional, happiness and disbelief.

but yes I do object the way she behaved in the Mumbai mall. Yesterday i agree she panicked with the photo but suraj dismissing the photo completely annoyed me the most..if Chakor burnt all of imli photos she ought to panic seeing the pic in the cradle.

I dont understand .What the heck Imli is doing in haveli .Now even Chakor is free to take care of Saanvi ,then why that bitch is still there😡

Mai, I agree with the reaction part..But it all depends on the Director..Meera is too young to understand multi layered expressions..Only thing that annoys me is she is taking many pauses..Again therez nothing she can do about it unless therez no proper mentoring..😊

Ruby, audience are not just waiting for Chakor to strike back, they also anticipate a different plot..This track has the potential if given proper reasoning & executed well..Writers can't continue fooling viewers when the slot is getting tougher competition..

Divya true the audience want a good track but Chakor has mostly led all tracks in the past, I mean she is given much more to do. I personally feel with the new writer, the writing has improved and Chakor character is slowly coming back in the right direction, we saw shades of that in recent kashmir climax but they need to show her get to imli truth and catch her. I personally find her sensing danger as a powerful quality but i want high drama with her doing some detective work and monitoring archana. If they show vivaan expose imli i will be disappointed. It should be Chakor.

The real reason is for drama 😆, but I hate to be the person telling Vivaan that she's dead and he can't take his revenge.

Okay,I have been following the discussion here since last night,but joining in now,coz I watched the episode just now.

To start with,everything was so very absolute.

I felt for Chakor,the mother,but Suraj was nowhere disrespectful towards her.

He neither argued with her,nor shouted at her,nor yelled continously at her...ONLY ONE DIALOGUE WAS SAID AT A HIGHER TEMPERAMENTAL TONE,that actually proved out to be nesessary for the situation.

And that was perfectly alright.

After witnessing how Suraj has always treated,cared,respected and loved Chakor,through the years...if we become judgemental towards Suraj,for such a small scene,then its really distasteful.

We all are discussing Suraj's scolding Chakor,when it was absolutely normal,as Saanvi was incessantly crying.

WHY ARE WE FORGETTING THAT SURAJ IS THE SAME MAN,WHO CELEBRATED HALF YEAR MOTHERHOOD OF HIS BELOVED WIFE WITH HIS OWN BAKED CAKE (the first rare blissful scene,I ever saw on screen)

And as far as the point of writing of characters is concern,any Udaan viewer will handsdown agree that there has only been two characters in the show post the generation leap that has always got the most fare share...CHAKOR AND IMLI.

Even Suraj being the male lead of the show,has been sidelined many a times,and there has been impartiality and biasedness towards his character

Rabia to.me it looked that he he cared for archana pleading more. The entire convo he had with imli after that ruined the surprise for me. He hardly knows her and was sharing his thoughts with her and that unnecessary thanking.
