Can the unfinished FFs be continued again, if we take prior permission from the Author and give them the well deserved credits?
There are many beautiful OS, SS, TS, FFs that are unfinished. If anyone can come up with ideas to continue them, that would really great.

Please let me know your take on this. Is it possible?

It is not a bad idea dear!
I have also thought of this when people started to leave it unfinished.
But the thing is it's not that easy!
The style and the way the story was carried away is one thing that can be done by the person who started only.
And I believe that when they started to write, they for sure imagined the end, and few important mysteries or points to be done or flashbacks that would stick to that story;
And these things can be the important things to do in a story.

Even if we give credits and start to write with new ideas of mysteries and flashbacks, the essential of the story will be kind of lost.
and a better way for this is to imagine the rest of the story ourselves and that's it.

Hope I didn't hurt you with my opinion.

Yeah .I absolutely understand. Thank you so much for giving me a piece of your mind.
I just thought if something should be better than nothing. But again, you are absolutely correct.

Oh dear!
Hope I didn't hurt you!
It's just that as I write stories, I know what I plan and what I do and as a reader also, I get to see things, so said!

Shreeti,

The reason I created an account on IF is to read to story 😆
Then went ahead to read another Fan fic but it was discontinued..Same with another.. That's exactly when I lost interest in reading stories..I read mostly when all the parts are completed..😊

But completely agree with Maithu..The story can be carried forward but not the essence and what the writer wants to emote..👍🏼

Instead of reviving them, why not a new story Shreeti..I would love to read it..😳
