The show was one of Colors' regular ratings puller before it was switched to an earlier time slot of 19:30 to make way for Tu Aashiqui' at 20:30. With intense competition from Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' in the 19:30 slot, which is the biggest show on UK Asian television, it is unlikely Udann' will be able to make any headway in its current form. The show has recently been averaging with around 10,000 viewers.

Now I understand why Tu aashiqui is regularly in top 3 colors shows UK

With all due respect to the article, even before the slot time move Udaan usually averaged between 8k and 15k viewers and wasn't a regular in the top 3 Colors show, on its good days it used to achieve this twice a week at most.

I don't know the current numbers for Colors shows but they usually were far smaller than SP, the top Colors show usually gets 20-30k viewers (sometimes as low as 16k) so without comparison to the numbers that other Colors shows get now you can't draw conclusions.

Lastly UK audience have different tastes, Devanshi used to be a regular in top 3 and before Tu Aashiqi, Savitri Devi used to top the list for Colors.

So, there is insufficient data to assume that this numbers are actually a drop from its previous average and to conclude that its due to the track.
