CHAPTER:12
All the family members including Shashwat returned from Temple. Kasturi brought lunch for Chakor but Chakor refused to open the door. Now all were getting tensed for her. She didn't even come out of her room.
Suraj on the other hand, called Arhaan to book the ticket of the very next flight to Lucknow. After checking, Arhaan told him that the next flight was half an hour later from that particular time. The distance of airport from Suraj's house was of forty minutes. However he asked Arhaan to book his ticket and he will go anyway.
Just then, he picked his car keys and was driving in a jet speed. He was so restless that he forgot about his fever. Arhaan mailed him the ticket and he reached airport on time. Even a single minute of delay in the flight seemed very long to him. It was impossible for him to stay a second away from his Chakor. Yes! His Chakor. He never felt that much right on her. It was his first time. Just because his Chakor said that she loves him.
All the positive feelings were filled with the fear that if things wouldn't have turned up this way, may be he would have lost his love. His parents! His in laws! And Shashwat also! All the people who mattered so much to him did this blunder. How could Shashwat even think to take his place in Chakor's life. How could Chakor's parents think that I am not appropriate for Chakor. How could his own parents...!
With all this thoughts crossing his mind, all kind of feelings crossing his heart, he reached Lucknow Airport in one hour.
On the other hand, Chakor was waiting for him desperately. Going again and again on the window to see if he has come or not. Her mother came two times to give her lunch but she refused. She couldn't think of anything else other than Suraj. Her home seemed a cage to her and Suraj, her rescuer.
Whole family was seated in the hall except Chakor who was still in her room. Just then, someone rang the doorbell. Chakor's heart beat increased when she heard the bell. The old maid of the house opened the door. And here comes Suraj Rajvanshi in. Looking in all directions, he noticed his parents, in laws and Shashwat sitting on the sofa. But reacted as if they don't exist. His eyes were only searching for Chakor. No greetings, no hellos...
All family was shocked cum delighted seeing him. But he ignored them. His mother approached him when he started shouting, " Chakor! Chakor!".
She who was waiting to hear this, ran out of her room, down the stairs to reach him. As soon as they came in front of each other, they forgot the world. These fifteen days were like fifteen lives. There unspoken hearts openly spoke for the first time. With all the love and longing they had for each other, they hugged. This was the tightest hug they ever did. The most comfortable hug, the hug that made their world complete. She could only feel him and he could only feel her. Nothing else. Not at all.
However, there were a plenty of human beings with unexplainable expressions on their faces. It was expected. Everything was so sudden.
When sukor finally realized the world is alive, they broke the hug and smiled seeing each other. Just then, Tejaswini said, "Suraj!"
Chakor looked at her.
Suraj completely ignoring, "Chakor! Go bring your bag! We are leaving!"
Chakor could now make out what was he actually doing.
Kn came to him, " How's your work going?Suraj!"
Suraj to the old maid, "Tai ji! Please give my car keys!"
Kn and Tejaswini both were disappointed.
Chakor too looked on.
Shashwat came to him. Saying, " Hello bro! This time, we met soon." And proceeded to hug him when Suraj pushed him back!
All family members were well aware of the reason, but never expected such behavior from Suraj.
He turned to Chakor, "Go n bring your bag! We have to leave right now!"
Chakor, "Suraj..!" signalling him to talk to them.
Suraj, "Chakor! Fast! Please!"
Meanwhile kn came in front of him. Held him by his shoulders, "You are angry at us!"
Suraj tried to remove his hands.
But kn laughed saying, "Beta! You must be doing a lot of work out! But my arms are still stronger than you."
Bhuvan came forward, " Suraj! You aren't aware of the real thing!"
Kasturi, " Beta! Let's sit and talk!"
And everyone proceeded to sit. However Suraj held Chakor's hand saying, "Chakor! It's time! Let's go!"...to the maid, "Tai ji! Did you get the keys!"
Maid, "Yes! Suraj am coming! But please have a glass of chocolate milk, I made it but didn't know you are coming!"
Suraj, " Taiji! I love it! But sorry! Not today! Come-on Chakor!"
And he started to go out! When kn spoke in his commanding voice, "Suraj! Stop all this nonsense! And sit with us! We need to tell you something!"
Suraj couldn't ignore more. His father's voice was like an order from God! But he couldn't follow what he was asked to. Turned around and said, " Dad! I am sorry! I don't need to know anything!"
Bhuvan, " Chakor! At least you try to understand!"
Tejaswini, " Suraj! Whatever we did was for you both!"
Suraj laughed, " Yes! I saw! What you all did? All for my good and benefits! But you know what Mom! Your benefits would have proved disaster for me! What and where you could see that we aren't compatible? Don't we look good together! Or we both don't suit each other? Like on your decision we married! You all expect us to part our ways for your happiness! I don't know about Chakor but I am really selfish in that matter! I am sorry!"
Tejaswini, " beta! You misunderstood us! "
Suraj, " Mom! We both aren't in a relationship that normally a husband-wife share. Yes! We are not! My relation with her has been something special! To give the other time to understand you, to know you, to love you...seems to you all that we aren't happy together! I was not taught to force myself on someone...and that what I believe makes me a man! I have loved her! And she loves me! And that is enough for us to stay in this relationship! Nothing more I require!"
Shashwat came to him, "Suraj! This all we did...!!"
Suraj cutting him in between, " You don't dare speak a word! I never expected this from you! You were my friend and that's the reason I am leaving you... otherwise I had nothing better else than killing you!"
Chakor, " Suraj! What is this way of talking to them? Let's listen to them first!"
Suraj, " You want to listen! Go! Am waiting for you outside! When you'll be done, come out!" And he left!
