and then got over it in millisecond😆.

the desperation with which he tried to stop Chakor from hurting herself, the way he signed the papers, the way he shouted at imli, the way he looked at Chakor... his hurt, his frustrations, his helplessness.

everyone got what they wanted.

and i am left with... loneliness.

i could have hugged him...

if only.. ... that car night out didn't happen.

if only... the 'friendship' bond between Suraj and Imli didn't mutate to sickeningly inappropriate levels.

if only... he never committed emotional infidelity. because that's what he has been indulging in since that fatal night and till now. physical infidelity can be forgiven. i for one will NOT forgive emotional one.

if only... he stood by Chakor. for Chakor. and only Chakor.. against the whole wide world.

if only... he understood what a woman wants from her man... respect, dignity, honour... love is priceless but not at the cost of self respect.

if only... he told her the truth.

if only... he could see the damage he has inflicted on everyone around him especially the girl he claims to love.

if only... he realizes he is victim by choice. Chakor was given no choice.

if only... he didn't thrust in a third equation between the sacred bond that should be shared by only two.

if only... cvs understood that we the majority audience will not accept the hero being so clueless, helpless and downright moronic. and above all... valuing his ex and best friend over his loving and devoted wife.

if only... Chakor were to meet the mechanic, got hurt over the 'lie' and truth of Suraj and walked out.

if only... there was no imli between Suraj and Chakor.

if only Suraj will fight for only Chakor to prove his innocence and win her back.

if only cvs used a logical needle (which would have sufficed) to carve out this separation instead of the hack saw and battle axe they used.

if only..

so yes... i felt sorry for Suraj.

and then i said... naa! let there be more tanhai for him.

call me sadist but from someone who wished nothing but only happiness, success, victories and bright burning aura for this character to now wishing worst of agony for him...

what changed?

p.s. VJ was brilliant in this segment.

VJ is a brilliant actor and this guy has been carrying Suraj on his shoulders for so long, no matter what crap the makers make Suraj do...he tries as much as possible to make Suraj look convincing and does a good job at it, so much so that viewers really started disliking almost hating Suraj since that "night"
But from what I have seen from last few interv, it seems like even VJ is not sure anymore where the character Suraj is heading .
These cvs have completely destroyed Suraj to such an extent only to glorify others which is horrible and pathetic

Wow nice post 👏..you are a wonderful writter.👍🏼.i also felt for him..really cv killed so much suraj character..but it's looking current scene mostly we can't get back our old suraj...let see what cv is storying for us about suraj character.. .but I would like to see immediately old suraj rajvanshi... 😛

I was in the same dilemma: should I or shouldn't I feel sorry for him?

And then I remembered "that night" and I was like: "So, now you are in pain? Why weren't you in pain when you were getting cozy in the back seat of the car, all smiling and contemplating your possible future with your ex, looking intensely into her eyes? Why don't you do this now? Plan your future with your ex! Since you were so eager to find out how a marriage with Imli would have been, now is your chance!"

I don't understand one thing: why the CV showed "that night"? They could have slept separately as the fact that the mechanic saw the two of them together became irrelevant because Suraj took the blame himself. Having in mind his behavior with Imli in the car, the way he was so involved in that dialogue with her, the things they said to each other, makes it almost impossible to feel sorry for Suraj now, at least for me.

I think they wanted to play a dirty trick on the audience by insinuating that something could have happened. And I am glad that the audience gave it back to them because the ratings dropped dramatically after that week.

You are amazing! From SwaSan to SuKor, you posts are always a treat to read. Only if the CVs had your vision and creativity. CVs successfully made me indifferent to the male lead and I could not feel sorry for him for more than some seconds. What a shame. There were so many ways to separate a couple but CVs chose the worst illogical & repulsive one. As a result now I don't even want him near Chakor unless he comes out of his lala land which he created with Imli & learns to love & respect Chakor the way she deserves.
