Some Important questions for 'Sukorianz' *nce again*

These re the questions I want to ask everyone and please take out some time to answer these because it really helps to understand each other's point of view and It really does helps me to see things from different angles and understand them better...Because right now I don't the reason but I'm "Not at all feeling happy or excited about sukor love story...something is really disappointing me and what bothers me more is I don't even know what I'm not liking right now..those who know me from long ago also knows how big sukor fan I am and how badly I wanted to see their love story but what's happening right now is not giving me the kick" so please do answer these questions so maybe my misery can be lessen😭

Similarly Vivaan and Chakor were in relationship, when Vivaan fall for Imli,he didn't think about Chakor so as Imli(not bother about Sooraj) and why Sooraj needs to think about Imli,before love realization for Chakor.

When you fall in love with someone,your thoughts are occupied with that person only and insecurities and fear that other person would feel same or not.

I think it is enough time,that feeling was there and just need to come out and Pakhi done that.

Banduva track is enough for his redemption, he learn some harsh realities of life and starts to value life.

Chakor gets some unconditional support from him,the chain braking stunt and he rejecting food because not wanting to slap her.He was in such vulnerable and weak situation, but he values her that time.

That is something so touching for Chakor to feel for him.

I don' t feel anything rushed or something in sukor love story till now and they are moving slowly from hatred to care for each other to slow realization of love.

Here is may answer to your questions, I can't guarantee it being consistent. The parts added later are in bold.

#1 I always thought of Suraj as "you'll have my back, I'll have yours " kind of guy, not necessarily morally correct but loyal to those loyal to him. So once Chakor started protecting him, he was always going to protect her whatever the consequences were for him. There was also his remark in the T.V interview when he was asked when he started to fall in love with her and he mentioned the Karwachauth incident when she fainted and he vowed to always make sure that she is free to soar high. There is a softer side to Suraj, like Chakor said in the same interview: he's like a coconut hard on the outside but at soft at heart. Also they were part of the same team fighting against KN, if he wasn't going to protect her while they were on the same side, then when would he?

#2 The bandhua track was smooth and well acted ,but the torture should have been toned down a little bit, if he was able to drink and eat once before wouldn't have changed the narrative but would've decreased the viewrers' suffering. I really liked the start of the bandhua track, it's only after Chakor jumped into the well that the story and the quality of the show started to suffer.

Regarding redemption: for me for someone to be redeemed, three things must happen: first he should admit and regret his past mistakes, I'll expand on this point in the next paragraph. Secondly, he should never repeat them again and I believe that he will not willfully join in the exploitation of them again. Thirdly, he should attempt to correct his mistakes in Suraj's case helping improve the villagers' conditions or protecting them or fighting for their rights another thing is to give up on the gains of his mistakes so being disowned by his father and not spending on himself any money he has made during his time working with his father is necessary, he can use this money later to improve the villagers' lives. He showed that when he left his food to the children, he even showed that he has bought into Chakor's dream before becoming a bandhua when he gave her the picture of her ideal Azaadganj.

About the first point:

Realizing his mistakes: I know that he hasn't said it out loud, but I can't see him ever defending his past actions. There were also some subtle moments that showed that he wasn't proud of his past : on Sukor's bus ride to Delhi when she reminded him that villagers were paid in buckets of water, his face showed guilt and also when he got the flashback about making the little girl into a bandhua after stopping her parents from fleeing the village. It's not enough some self reflection is needed, but it's a start.

Apologizing to the villagers: I believe actions speak better than words so if he starts to make amends for his past mistakes then that's enough for me and even if he needs to apologize, now isn't the right time. His words now will ring hollow because he can't act on them and I doubt the villagers will be impressed because it will change nothing for them. Risking his life for them and helping them in whatever way he can is a better apology right now. Verbal apology's time will come when he is in a position to correct his mistakes (after defeating KN or at least being safe from him).

The bandhua track serves to give Suraj 'street credibility' with the villagers and to make him understand their suffering and o realize the worth of many things he took for granted. More importantly, it helped cement Sukor's bond, because hardships break flimsy relations and strengthen true ones in little time. Another important outcome was showing Suraj's true colors: he didn't break, he didn't bow down to his father and didn't turn against those who didn't help him, he even understood why Shikhu betrayed him (that was before the suffering, I know)

#3 Falling in love has no set time, it may happen in an instance or may take years. That said, here is how I see it, Suraj was already in love with Chakor, he was always attracted to her even before their marriage she always fascinated him. Her care for him melted his heart, she treated him as a human being. People mostly feared him, the only other people who cared for him were his mother and Imli but Imli was acting like a star- struck teenager chasing her crush. he was touched that she cared for him and didn't give up on him even though she didn't approve of him as a person. It isn't just that he depends on her, he had already started to miss her presence when he was leaving for Dubai. I believe had he went to Dubai he would have realized that he's in love with her. In summary, he was already in love but the suffering sped the realization part because she was his universe during that time and when they were separated he realized how much she meant to him.

As for your questions,here are the answers..MY TAKE-

1.THE PROTECTIVENESS IN SURAJ FOR CHAKOR WAS NOT AT ALL RUSHED,,,,,BUT WAS SMOOTH,VERY,VERY SMOOTH...

Like,I had always believed that Suraj had been always fascinated about Chakor...deeply attracted at her fierceness,the day she was brought kidnapped in his den.She always had a influence on him right from childhood...

It was not the night mare on the trip morning that he rushed to save her to return her favour...HE RUSHED BECAUSE,HE WANTED TO PROTECT HER,HE RUSHED BECAUSE HE HAD THE INSTINCT WITHIN HIM THAT HE WILL BE NOT BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH IT,IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO HER.

He had always cared for her,I had given the various examples on Udaan DEDT#1.

He had that protective nature within him,and that care for her,even when she did'nt talked with him properly.But Suraj himself never acknowledged it.He was attracted to her when she was tying his tie in the press interview,and his feelings were already revealed when he described about the karva chauth night.and after that also he was fierce in being protective about her,when Yogi bear was force fully marrying her.

so in my opinion,it was not rushed,and yes regarding Suraj being mushy-mushy romancing and teasing her during the 'ishq ka safar'...actually suraj had always been very much reserved in regard to Chakor,but day before the way she came and abruptly hugged him,without a word,her attitude spoke volumes as if it was like a green signal to him,that he had started questioning himself.WHAT WAS ALL THAT...so he was also being somewhat free to express his inner side,and more importantly,he was just enjoying the moment with her,away from all the turmoil...he himself said."KAASH YEH RAAT KABHI KHATAM NA HO".

2.The bandhua track was MORE THAN ENOUGH for his redemption,and add some 1000 more to that...

He had been made to live the life of a hell,some thing beyond imagination,if get to analyse each and every instant of that horrid track...the post would become realyyy long.

So for keeping it short,in my opinion,SURAJ WAS NEVER THAT BAD...as he had been made to suffer,actually he was not paying for his deeds,he was paying for his parents deeds...

He never deserved what he got...FATE HAD BEEN TOO HARSH ON HIM...

He had been made to perish for a drop of water,had to beg for a morsel of food,suffer in harsh cold...and these were all physical...some where tolerable...

But he had been made to rip of his self-esteem,give on his attitude...I shiver whenever i think of that tortures..

actually he has suffered for not only of this birth,but many more births in one go...

3.First of all...LOVE IS UNREASONABLE...it would be a disregard,if the pure feelings that sukor have for each other needs to be questioned...

Love is spontaneous,it just happens,without any prior notice or clarification,there never comes a defining moment that tells.OH this was when i started to love.!

This is LOVE,not aids that first virus will attack,then reverse transcription will occur,and then symptoms will appear and you will be officially told that CONGRATS,YOU ARE IN LOVE..

The relation between two persons can only be understood by THE TWO AND NO ONE ELSE...

Suraj and Chakor both had some really,unnamed,unexplained,unexpressed,unanswered sentiments for each other a very long time ago,..."DHADKANON KE BHI APNE USOOL HOTE HAIN,HAR KISI KE NAAM PAR NAHI RUKTE"...but the mystery started to solve slowly during this track...that everything started to come out in open...

LOVE HAPPENS LIKE THAT ONLY,COZ THE HEART KNOWS NO OTHER WAY...

4.Suraj realizing his love,just after a nightmare and only on the insistence of a lil girl...thats a very strange thing,wait lemme explain...TO BE TOLD TO IS A STRONG HUMAN COMPULSION IN THOSE WHO LOOK OUTWARDS FOR VALIDATION...

sometimes,somethings are deep inside us,we know it perfectly,but we are just need to be told to...

It happens with me also,like if I am to attend a grand party,I take out two dresses,to chose from and arrange them on my bed...DEEP INSIDE I HAD VERY MUCH DECIDED,WHAT I REALLY WANT TO WEAR...but still between the two dresses I do that 'bachpan waala',...'akkad-bakkad'...even after doing that THE DRESS I WANTED TO ACTUALLY WEAR DOES NOT COMES UP...I switch the positions of both dresses,then again do the same thing,...AND THEN FINALLY MY CHOSEN ONE WINS,,,,,,,and I get ready..

Actually it is something very strange,WE KNOW IT DEEP INSIDE,WHAT WE ARE FEELING OR WANTING.BUT IN OUR STUBBORNNESS WE SEEK A VALIDATION FROM OUTSIDE...

The same thing happened with Suraj,deep at heart he knew that HE HAD REALLY LOST IT...that is why before Paakhi's insistence,in his dream he saw himself telling her,..."Kya tum humse pyar nahi karti..."

He had been feeling all these strange things days ago,it was just he was unable to muster up the courage to confess it to himself...THAT YES,I LOVE HER...

Paakhi just told him,gave him validation and nothing else...

It was no where,something undigestable,or strange,,,,,,,BUT SURAJ LOVE REALIZATION WAS VERY MUCH INCREDIBLE...

And lastly Suraj ,the man is a REAL MYSTERY dear,its very hard to unsolve it...😊

Why the hell would Suraj would question himself,of his love for Imli,,,,,😡,,,,,,,,,,,WHEN IT WAS NOT AT ALL LOVE IN ITS TRUEST FORM...???

Actually dear Suraj never ever loved Imli,not even in his nightmare,he was attached to his child,and he just cared for the woman who was nurturing his child in her womb,that is it...

And regarding his so called love feeling for Imli,I had already written a really long post to explain it...
