Yeah true. What did Suraj see in Imli that he fell for her anyway ???
But as they say, love is deaf and blind, so... I think that should have been the reason : Being blind and deaf !!!

So Shikhu is gaddar. an unapologetic, proud one at that and i was very disappointed for a moment. not anymore now.
Suraj needed that wake up call.
you cannot treat people as per your whims and fancies.'taking care' goes both ways. yes he thought of and treated Shikhu like a friend but he is the same guy who was caring and soft for Imli and then used her for gambling bet; made her dance in front his tharki friends and treated her abominably at times. he is the same one who so beautifully supported Chakor when she was devastated over Imvaan truth and then publicly humiliated the girl calling her a 'buri biwi'.
he is too volatile and unpredictable. one honestly doesn't know where they stand in his life.
it is only his mother who gets his unconditional love and respect.
he is slowly getting there for Chakor.
so he needed to know that people deserve to be treated the way they treat you. them being banduas or servants or your friends and biwi is not a free pass to be sub-human to them or treat them as sub-human.

he has changed and is changing. but you cannot erase or make peace with your past unless all the debts are paid.
he paid the first debt. he has lot to pay. may be he will.

Shikhu too shall pay. Suraj right now is a saint compared to Ragini. so his payback will happen someday.

maybe Suraj will finally find himself a true friend. he has got Chakor. maybe Aditya or chagan (unless he too is turning turncoat and going on negative mode... as if there is severe dearth of bad guys in the serial!)
Chagan as a bandhu child himself can dish out some hometruths to Suraj Rajvanshi... what it means to be a bandhua. the man relished being a maalik and even forced little kids into banduagiri. few more lessons to be learnt. few more debts to be paid.

another lesson - betrayal hurts. he betrayed his father. yes his father was a monster. a snake who will swallow his own kids but stabbing your own father in his back is not the way to go about it. KN deserves a comeuppance but not like this. someday Suraj will be able to deliver just justice to his father.

but for now...
he needs to be broken down some more.
burnt a little more.
may there is more darkness in his life.
and when the night is at its darkness ... Dawn shall break free. will be a beautiful SUN rise.

from his own ashes he will rise like phoenix.
and i hope he will do that on his own. Chakor could be his partner, friend, soulmate, wind beneath his wings.. but the final flight... he has to do it by himself.

will he be allowed to?

there are Cvs who created the imli fiasco, rape nightmare and now 'Suraj - the abla nar' abhiyaan.
and then there are Cvs who wrote - 'tab hum kaha the Suraj?'
I am really very sorry Chakor.

i hope the second ones take over.

in tele land - there are heroes, dark heroes, jerks and dikras.
Heroes - a rarity.
Dark heroes - even rarer.
Jerks - who gets passed on as dark heroes.
and dikras - dime a dozen.

Suraj belongs to the second category.
it is VJ who pulled the character that Suraj is from category 3 to second one. he is literally being one man army here holding that character from going down completely.

so Cvs lend him some helping hand will ya?
Suraj Rajvanshi is not meant to be an abla nar, dikra, lamp post or wallpaper or a damsel.

he is meant to be a dark hero.
bad for the bad ones.
good for the ones who are nice to him.
and great for the ones who love him... the ones he will love.

i have not given up on him but i am being very very cautious and watchful here. i fell in love with the character that Suraj Rajvanshi - Could be.

i am still waiting for that - could be.

he is a stunningly shaded dark entity and this story is an edgier fairy tale... this is THE could be. this is how it should be.

it still stings that he was leaving his girls behind in the war zone, abandoning the battle field and was fleeing to save his own life... and it took his idiotic and psychotic sister to bring his down and back.

but his justifications did make some semblance of sense.
Chakor humhe maar dalegi.
she will never talk to me again... (i find it so adorable that he is terrified of her wrath and him not liking/wanting 'her not talking to him' scenario ).
i can't insult her efforts and hardwork and feelings.

so for now.. i am fine by the situation. let's see how he rises from here on.

and a special shout out to his -
Chakor ne humhe phone nahi kiya? thank you bolne ke liye bhi nahi kiya?

how adorably childlike was that!😳

showie for spamming😳.

i do believe Suraj and Chakor were bonded in a twisted way from childhood. she was the burr under his skin he wanted out. a bete noire he wanted to crush. his whole childhood went in hating the existence of the girl.
intensity of that level is bound to mutate to something dark and edgier sooner or later.

and then she came back in his life and how.

if only there were no murky extra equations.. sooner or later these two foes were bound to clash and who knows how this dark tale would have found its light and beauty!

his first memory of hers in that agar tum saath ho seuqence was - when he first set his eyes upon grown up Chakor after 10 years. he was so aware of her that time.

his hatred for her; at that moment; found a new shade.
sooner or later --- that shade would have deepened to blood red and then colours of true love.

well there is still time. and there is still story to be told.

It's always a pleasure to read how you see the things unfolding and you have said it all lady...totally agree.
And the way you see and describe the situation makes it totally acceptable.

Indeed Suraj need to learn a few lessons and slowly he's getting there.
He always treated ppl the way he saw fit, depending on his mood at the moment.
Now he's getting a taste of his own medicine!!!!!
Karma always comes back to haunt
And if there is anyone who understands the character Suraj Narayan Rajvanshi better than anyone , even better than the CV's , it definitely is VJ !!!!
Hatts off to VJ for still keeping the character in place, preventing it from going down completely, for making the audience still believe in , sympathize with Suraj and love him
VJ indeed a one man army, carrying most part of this show on his shoulder and when he's not around, immediately feel the void
