Ladies, I still don't give up to my theory because is the only one who can recreate all this puzzles that Suraj has become ever since August with that stupid ice cream scene.
I think he fell in love with Chakor at first sight. When he came that night at her house it was for her not for Imli. I think he wanted to tell her about his feelings but gave up thinking that he has no chance since she was so in love with Vivaan.
But when the trio planned the swap, he felt entitled "to snatch" Chakor from Vivaan because he also snatched Tina from him. He also didn't want to be punished for a sin that he didn't do. I think he knew right before the marriage that he didn't do anything with Imli. He had some doubts when Imli told him first but when Chakor was about to shoot him, he was very convinced that he didn't do anything wrong.
He didn't try to kill his father but it was convenient for him to make Chakor believe so because he could blackmail her to stay in the marriage.
I believe that everything he did after the marriage was just to keep her by his side either by force or by her own will.
His character is such that I can totally believe that for Chakor's sake he is crazy enough to accept a child that it was not his "sin" as his own baby because in that way Imvaan marriage was protected, to declare that he loves Imli because he thought that this will make Chakor happy, to pretend that he tried to kill his father so that his father be after his life because he knew Chakor will step in and defend him.
He thinks that Chakor likes Vivaan's type of guys, so he tuned down his aggression and his smartness to make her like him and defend him. He is ready to become a bandhua for his father because Chakor will never leave him in that horrible condition and will stay always with him.
Yes, I think he is crazy enough to do all these things. As we can see, he knows nothing about girls. He keeps buying the wrong gifts to Chakor. So he gives her whatever he thinks she wants: his dignity, his pride. In his mind whatever Chakor wants from him, she should have it. If he wanted him to recognize Imli's baby as his, he did it.
I think he was always crazy about her but he feels so shy and so insecure in front of her that he will never dare to utter those three words.
And wouldn't that be really ironically, that the guy that we though he slept so carelessly with a girl, is actually so innocent at heart that he never even had the courage to tell his own wife that he loves her?
Just a positive post for Suraj to compensate for all the negative comments that I've written lately. You know I am thinking very differently.

OMG,I am really feeling very touched at this moment,I mean, girl how you just always favour Suraj's character in such a clever way and justify all his actions as well...but alas
If only the cvs had also loved Suraj the way You and me do...😔
