Hello peeps!
Today's ep was awesome! VJ and Sai Ballal were riveting. And there was enough SuKor for all those of us who ship these two crazy kids to go bonkers (drop by our AT for a glimpse of the fangirling🤪).
This is just a lighthearted post because entertainment apparently comes at the price of some silliness on the writers' part 😆
1. Imli went in to a random house and changed clothes. The basti people are poor as church mice and chachi is cool lending haveli ki bahurani her Saree?! But you shall sow what you reap and chachi gets a gaudier (Udaan lingo mein bole toh sundarrr) Saree in return.
2. Chakor, girl, I had higher expectations from you. You said surajmukhi instead of sunflowers, wasn't that a big enough clue? You needed a flashback to make you realise your hubs is a tall dude? And who digs a grave that shallow?! Ever heard of "six feet under"???
3. After the bloodbath outside the haveli Shikhu isn't the least bit scared and is only concerned about Suraj instead of thanking his stars Chakor showed up and he wasn't with the other men. Okay let's put this down to his loyalty (/dumbness). Then Chakor forbids him from going inside because they'll get suspicious and not because he'd be gunned down. Then she sees a shamiana outside 'cos the haveli doesn't have enough rooms for the dancers to get dressed inside. She makes a call in this scene. To whom?! Did I miss something or was this never revealed?
4. This is of course the most ridiculous bit. Chakor dances with a bit of lace on her face and no one recognizes her. Chalo koi nahin, she cross dressed as a kid- wore shades and a cap and her own family didn't recognize her back then. Chakor Rajvanshi, the mistress of disguise- tadaaa!!
5. Post Tarrantino/Kashyap-esque sequence (had they been dead, they would've turned in their graves as a result of this analogy) some idiot starts shooting blindly. Why would you do that?! How could you be certain no one from your side gets shot?? As expected, none of the key players gets hurt.
6. Chakor holds Suraj's hand while running because, obviously, he's not as fast as her. Of course this sequence had us all going ❤️ but how does this even help? She slowed her pace/wanted to boost his morale by sharing the warmth of human touch...what??!!
7. Chakor danced around Suraj to this line "jo hamesha tha mera, phir mera hoga" ❤️ Just had to be said.
Anyway, as long as they keep giving us such paisa vasool, action packed, SuKorilicious eps, sau ghalatiyan maaf 😳
