Anyway overall story does not make any sense. -- If he is really going to be straight and arrow, why even confess? Just tell Chakor, she is free to go and here are the divorce paper and then go after Imli. Only reason Imli and Vivaan stuck together was because Chakor refused to divorce Suraj.

Anyways, one thing is for sure..jodiyaan aasmaan mein banti hain, according to Vivaan, if CVs were confused about ImVaan, they wouldn't have taken their relationship forward. They would have remained as 'good friends'..currently they are more than that.
