-- TRP has been relatively stable. Some audience left and some came with the twist.

-- Suraj was "lead" from day 1 of the leap

-- Vivaan-Chakor love story moved too fast and was too sweet. no real takraar.

-- Vivaan has accepted Imli and her child. Husband/wife swapping after so much "progress" is impossible and not to say "yuck"

-- Suraj's double meaning dialogues -- samay batayega ki kayar kaun hai -- always good when they things on samay

-- use of a stupid nickname - bandhua biwi -- to annoy the wife

-- Chakor now has full time job of being mahaan. previously she was under-employed as the female lead

-- Audience loves love-hate, seemingly impossible love stories

-- Chakor loves to lecture Suraj and he doesn't shut her up.

My theory is that Suraj is not the father but knows who is the father.

Aradhana: Udaan was never a masala show in my opinion. It was always a little too serious. In league with shows like Balika Vadhu. So I wouldn't be surprised if they introduce a miscarriage sequence. Many light-hearted shows have dealt with it too as some female leads refuse to be portrayed as mothers onscreen.

I really think Imli is faking it. But then why is Suraj so readily admitting that the child is his without demanding a paternity test? Doesn't make sense!

First of all despite all the abortion hullabaloo, the pregnancy's still not been medically confirmed.

We got a glimpse of the real Imli today I feel, she's no baa-lamb.

The fact remains that no character would take Imli seriously were it not for the baby. The entire swap drama and the SuKor wedding was only because of the baby which is why the pregnancy track was written, I believe.

And since no one's going to digest this twisted dynamic of the four of them and the baby living together in the same house, it has to be fake! A miscarriage would be too traumatizing and Udaan is too much of a masala show to deal with it.

Another possibility is it might be real but not Suraj's. But then whose can it be? If Vivaan had still been an addict then it could have been him, but not after he sobered up (overnight, tada!). Kamal Narayan? Again, I feel too disturbing for the Indian audience.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!

On a side note, I have a question for the people who watched the show during the early days post-leap. What effect did the kiss/shooting challenge have on the TRPs? Because I see all these spoilers from around that time saying Suraj would fall for Chakor, but then they randomly brought Tina in and that whole stupid marathon track started.
