No one wants to see unhealthy relatioships on TV and no one wants Suraj to end-up with Chakor if he has really done those deeds. But that dosen't mean that his character can't take a positive note as not everything in life is about getting married. He may separate from Chakor and still be redeemed after. Scarlet O'Hara ended-up alone was still the heroine of the story. And Darth Vader died saving his son after trying many times to kill him. So there are many creative options, not everything has to be just black and white.
