Pattinson Not Going to Mumbai for 'Eclipse' Premiere
There have been Internet rumors this week that Robert Pattinson may be jetting to India to participate in the July 30 premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

"Yes, it is time for all you girls to scream out loud," declares The Times of India. "For one of your dreams might just come true very soon."

Given the huge Twilight following in Asia and thousands of requests from Indian fans to get him to Mumbai, the local Eclipse distributors "sent a petition to the film's production studio in Hollywood to ask for his presence," a request that "has been acknowledged and is being seriously considered."

These rumors have stirred a lot of anticipation for a Pattinson appearance, but Gossip Cop can report that, unfortunately, the actor will not be able to be in Mumbai for the premiere.

A source close to Pattinson tells us he will still be busy shooting Water for Elephants during that period.

We're sorry to disappoint hopeful fans, but Gossip Cop wanted to end the rumors before they grew even bigger.

I feel SO sorry for the fans in Mumbai, every interview I watch from Indian girls are crazy for him there I am upset that he can't go. Sorry to all the fans and I hope he could of gone to India.
