I luv both Edward and Jacob but people who luv one of them bash the other and others just bash Bella i mean all charcters have flaws no one can be perfect..........

Jacobs not perfect and neither is Edward (for those who disagree thirsting for your girl friends blood is not considered perfect, atleast not in my books) and Bella is not perfect either but we all still love the book.........

And we love the book becasue of all the characters in it.....the book would have been much less intresting if Jake wasent in thier or ne otha character.......so why we bashin??

Each n every Character makes me love the book and read it over again and if ne Characters were to change my thoughts about the book would definalty change and some not for good.

We bash about the Characters flaws but who wants a perfect character that would be just boring.........

I find it useless to bash a Chracter because we end up hurting them and in revenge they end up hurtin us and than it ends up being WWIII😛

This was not to offened nebody...sorry if i did

and as for your tpoic ya I agree I may not be the biggest bella or jacob fan but i still hurts the people who are when we bash them

Really needed this topic!

I personally think mods should close topics that present such unfriendly ideas. As long as its about presenting opinions its not a problem but when it comes to bashing, and people arguing to prove one better over another, it just becomes unfriendly. IF members are a friendly group. But I saw in "Edward-The leech" topic that when one person gave her opinion and disagreed with the topic starter, there were about 4-5 people disagreeing with her right away and all, and the tone in which the replies were set were pretty disappointing.

and If mods dont like me stating this, they can edit the post but there was a post that caught my eye...

"Changing edward lovers into edward haters....So proud of myself"

(something along the liens of that)

I don;t see what's there to be proud of...I dont even see what one would try to prove like that......If you love jacob over edward or edward over jacob, then so be it, but respect the ones who love the one that you dont. I dont think its right to try to manipulate people's opinions just because you dont like their opinion.

Edward lovers are edward lovers.

Jacob lovers are jacob lovers.

there is no need to make edward lovers edward haters or jacob lovers jacob hater.

It's seriously getting out of hand.

Love_iqbal_khan- I guess you only saw that post right? Is it bashing when Precious Edward is being called a stalker because he likes to watch a 16 year old girl sleep? Oh but however when some people replied on Jacob- A dog? People kept repeating saying stuff like "A stinky dirty mongrel" and "Maybe if Edward had a pool he would let Jake dog paddle in it along with some floaties and renesmee" and much more. Are you saying that is acceptable??? Hmmm. Something to think about.

I get that the person was just joking because he/she may not be a fan of Edward. But when a jacob fan jokes and says:

It is called rude and bashing?

I think you didn't see the reason behind my post. I opened the topic because i was sick of hearing negative comments on Jake. Yes some of us had criticized edward in Jacob- A dog? And maybe the reason BEHIND THE EDWARD IS A LEECH post had to do something with that.

I do know that bashing is not allowed on the forum. And if i do apologize if my criticism had gone a bit too far.

But you need to always see both sides of the argument. Maybe if you check out The post JACOB- a DOG? You may understand some of our points.

I just so damn agree with you dear.........Mods should have closed such thread.....wasn't this place supposed to be having a friendly environment.....I'm really sorry to say over here everyone is just trying to explain who they love and seriously they want everyone to love him and hate the other !!!!!!! Mods should have closed that "Jacob-The Dog" thread...it really had created so much mess over here....and now this "Edward-the leech"...is too creating the same mess.....why just they can't stop bashing the other one which they don't like.....You guys have to be grown-ups...If you hate or love someone that doesn't mean whole world would be hating or loving that one !!!!!!

Over here too my dear I agree with you.......Everyone should respect others opinion......and in the same thread they are saying that's its just a discussion...friendly discussion...but seriously I don't think it is a friendly discussion.....Seriously Mods should have closed such topics which are ending up in the war!!!!!!

Let's see your response to Shadowkiss's answer, and then I'll reply. She said what I would have.

No one has to like all the characters and EVERY character has flaws and we can discuss them. If people get 'hurt' and can't handle it, that's just sad. We can't bash Edward by calling him a a stalker and everything else we called him, but we can bash Jacob by calling him a dirty stinky mongrel and "Maybe if Edward had a pool he would let Jake dog paddle in it along with some floaties and renesmee" .. yeah, dude, read the topics first okay? :)
