This is killing me!
As u guys can see by the title of this post, u may noe wat im trying to say. Why is it always Harry Potter vs. Twilight this and Twilight vs. Harry Potter that? I just don't get it!! How do people even compare a whole magical-adventourus series with a love-vampire-wolf series?? If its compared because both series are bestsellers...thenn i think that's wrong. Both series are amazingly great, and are seriously bestsellers. Harry Potter in its own special way is very interesting and fascinating. With all that magic, and adventure, and thrills, who would want to stop reading? Twilight in its own special way is very intriguing and captivitng... with all the rumbles and affection and heartbreak and suspension, who can leave this book on the table. My point is that... why does have to be Harry potter vs. Twilight? why can't it be Harry Potter and Twilight- two of the world's most bestselling novels and series? I for one luv Harry Potter and Twilight, two of the best series ive ever read... and most books dont always appeal to me, but these have. I dont get why its a war between them... but i wish it would stop.because i noe that there's alot of people ou there who luv both series.

What do u Twilighters have to say?

*If this is wrong or violating IF rules, MODS may CLOSE*

I guess because both of the series have been a total hit with teens and younger kids as well......I guess people want to compare the best? I dont know...that's what I think.

I don't think any type of comapring is fair. Comparing actors, or books, or people in general. Everyone and everything is special in its own way and people should appreciate that fact rather than start the 'my horse is bigger than your horse' rounds. Yeah You can compare to explain your personal choice...like why YOU liked a book better than another but there is no sense in trying to make the other book look like it's bad.
But it happens all the time. Things and people are ALWAYS compared. Take an inter-twilight comparison with the whole 'team edward' and 'team jacob' thing. Both characters have their own qualities and they're both what they are. You may like jacob's character more than edward or vice versa but I think it's wrong to compare things this way where one is meant to look better than the other.

People compare them simply because both series are popular with teenagers and that they are both written by women.😆The writing style is in no way similar. JK Rowling creates characters using complex plot twists and dynamic dialog while Stephanie Meyer prefers to describe the character's physical appearance as well as their ever desire. The plots (or lack thereof for Twilight) may both be magical and centered around teenagers, but that's the extent of their similarities according to me.

Actually I have seen it going on for quite sometime now I simply don't bother. People will just look for excuses to compare the two...if you argue there is a fight and if you dont some might eventually stop.😊

yeah I agree but I simply dont let stuff like this get to me...I like both Harry Potter books and Twilight Books for different reasons...They're not similar.....you can't compare apples and oranges😆 (its a bad analogy but it works)...and I like to stand on my opinion no matter how much people compare these two series or try to make one seem better than the other😉
