Okay, please answer this honestly. Do you guys like Twilight only because of Edward Cullen or Jacob Black, to the point that the series would mean nothing to you? Or are you one of those people who honestly like the story, and all the characters are equal to you?

I mean I find this story completly different where a Vampire struggles to keep his love safe despite him being her biggest threat.

I meant Edward the vampire. S Meyer could have used another vampire in place of Edward with a totally different personality. My question was whether you like Twilight because of Edward and his personality.

well i agree to both the things i.e wid out edward twilight wud b nuthin
and also the story is so unlike oder vampire tales.....
see i read it knowing that the protagonist vampire named edward ( i didnt knew much bout his personality then ) doesnt feed on human blood and struggles to keep his human love safe......which was a new concpt bout vampires.......

i love both the story and edward, but if edwards character had been different in personality i don't think i would be as crazy about twilight as i am now, because for me tiwlight has two main highlights edward and bellas love story and then edward himself, a different edward just wouldn't have made the twilight series as popular as it is now.
