Hold the celebrations on ‘Eclipse’ scoring its....

So there's been a lot of talk doing the rounds officially and not so officially about just who would win the title of Director for the third installment in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight movie adaptions. There seemed a lot of chatter that the rights had already gone to Horror film buff Juan Antonio Bayona but, says an article published today on the LATimes The Big Picture, this is simply not so.

"The 'Eclipse' directing job hasn't been offered to Juan Antonio or anyone else," Denied Erik Feig, president of production at Summit. "We've met with three or four talented filmmakers and we'll be meeting with three or four more other candidates before we make any decision. No one has been offered the job."

Hmm! Seems as if early reports stating Bayona had already been confirmed were jumping the gun just a TAD.
