The first thing that I thought when reading this chapter was actually not about Edward, but about Jessica's rudeness. I think it was obvious that maybe it was to show the juxtaposition between a person like Jessica and someone like Bella.
Jessica obviously knew that Edward and Bella were close, and even though Jessica may think that it's something that should be easily "gotten over" her response to Bella is revolting.
What is more important to Jessica is that Bella didn't spend as much time communicating with her rather then Bella obviously breaking down in front of her eyes. It's not just like Bella ignored Jessica specifically and now was trying to get her friendship back, instead you have this flimsy girl right now turning into pulp and breaking into a million pieces.😭
Though some of us probably have gone through the pain and agony of loosing that person that we first loved is there in REALITY a relationship where people can't HONESTLY live without each other, rather then move on.🤔
p.s. Actually I have started to read the books again, so thought why not have some fresh discussions on the old book😛. Honestly speaking every time I read the books, I discover new curiosity, like I am reading it for the first time.😳
