Jacob is 16 and the actor who plays him, Taylor Lautner, is 16 also but he will be turning 17 on february 11th, about a month before filming of new moon begins.

Aaaaaaaaaaagh! Thank you SO much! Wow.... I'm like on top of the world!! The whole reason of me watching Twilight was for Taylor! I was heartbroken when I heard he wasnt going to be cast as Jacob!

YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

And... damn, he's got a girlfriend? :( There goes my chance. lol
