Why do you think twilight became a phenomenon, after all its only a lovestory? EDWARD CULLEN! Duhh! Loll! Its special because it shows the epic love story btw the mortal and immortal. Plus, I think this gave a whole new angle to Vampires and how they look and how they really are. We have always sterotyped Vampires with fangs, sleeping in coffins, but Twilight changed everything. Though its fictious, its good to sometimes read something out of the box.

I would say there are no similarities btw the two of them. Robert's a human potraying the role of Edward, a vampire. The way Edward is described in the book is just imaginable. Upto our imagination. Though Robert has both the looks to look gorgeous and dangerous at the same time, he did a very good job as Edward in the movie😳 My POV😃
