Has anyone noticed the new book cover of Twilight?

Yesterday I saw this new cover page of Twilight at the bookstores when I went to buy Eclipse! Sadly, it was out of stock and I have to wait for a while for Eclipse! But before leaving, I saw at the display was the first book, Twilight! Not with the apple on it, instead it had Edward & Bella (Robert & Kristen) on it! I was shocked to see that, not because it had EB there, not also because it was actually smaller in size! But coz it was way cheaper than what I bought!😡😆 Ugh! The difference between the first book which I bought and the new one I saw was about $7 (SGD) Man that's a lot!😆

Anyone saw it yet?

hmmm...happens...dats wat dey have done wid sum oder buks...lyk memoirs of a geisha and atonement...wen da muvee cumz out...eventually the cover gets changed!...


and im wating for it to get cheaper...so dat my parents can buy me the books!!

well i like both the covers...... wud want to buy both lol 😆but thts not possible...

The apple thingy made the book cover different but I always EB to be there in the front page. I would have prefered if they took the pic where bella was holding the apple with Edward holding her😳

it's interesting that it hasn't happened with Harry Potter. I thought it might not happen with Twilight, but it really does happen with a lot of books.

yeah.. i saw it too.. i went to the book shop to buy the book.. bt i got the smaller version!! everything is the same... same amnt of pages.... chapeters nd all..

I noticed that! I honestly think that while the new cover is awesome, Twilight isnt quite Twilight without the forbidden apple held by the pale hands. I think that the apple has sort of become a symbol for the series- I read the books in December,2005 and I've been a fan way before the series exploded into what it is today. For three years, the apple was Twilight for me. Plus, who knows how the movies gonna turn out and how well it will portray the books- I think the book's identity should be left alone. But it was cheaper so I bought it too😳 lol I cant wait till friday!
