Yup Tanya angle is a possibility. She will be introduced later. Her father, Dipti's mom are possible villains for Ankhi.

Eager to know what will be Anshuman's family's reaction about Paakhi. The leads got married in just 5 episodes. The pace of the story is fast but smooth.

Also I guess Ansh's son would be in a boarding school as there are no signs of his presence from any segments so far.

It is my first post in your thread and I must admit I really loved all your previous analysis. You write really well.

Coming to friday episode, I really liked it the most so far. The story progressed smoothly and each character pov was portrayed well. Bechara Anshuman, he must be singing yeh kya huya, kyun huya doing the marriage rituals. I find that registration scene funny . Loved Pakhi's receptive nature without preaching much. Also dt subtle moment when she sqid to Anshuman aap ne khud hi aapne sawal ka jawab de diya. She is giving her life, her relationship a chance which is offered to her and I find it practical. Practical things happening to indian show female lead is in endangered category and thus Pakhi and her approach to the relationship is refreshing to watch.

Regarding Anshuman, your post title says it all- game changing moment. I guess his image conciousness made him keep silent all this while as being brutally honest with what he wants would mqke him look bad. But somehow I felt he was completely confused about wht to do at this situation type. He looked helplessly irritated. I guess his character sketch has that subtle endearing quality. He is not rude, harsh, arrogant on the face type hero who is abusive, ill treating.he has his flaws along with his good points which is normal which is also abnormal for hindi tv shows.hero has to be either sugar coated pergect mamma boy or, sarvagun sampanna or the ruthless, disrespectful, brash waiting for a simple girl to come and change him. Toh Anshuman thoda dusra type ka hi hai lekin pehle type ke gun ke saath, atleast I hope he has.

I am having expectations from the show and the makers , please dont disappoint the viewers. Next week looks really promising with Pakhi and Anshuman kiving together. Want to see the next set of plans from the man and the lady royally defeating him.

@people who are predicting future story- the makers already told its a triangular love story with unusual twists and turns shown on tv. So I am expecting Tanya will play a pivotal 4ole being the 3rd angle.

The character of Anshuman...is flawed but not frustrating and not hateable...It is a tough thing to do for the PH and more importantly for the actor to be flawed but still be likeable...IK is an actor with tremendous skills to be able to do that...so much so that you can feel what he is feeling and be intrigued...

Ansh...remembering his promise to the media...IF my first wife is waiting for me...and wants to come back...I promise I will bring her back...and he stops fighting...as stunned as he is...he knows this is what he has to do...very subtle depiction...very well done...

I guess you were viewer of ipk like many here and you were following the dobara series also.
I stayed away from that show so cant comment much. But its like a trend to butcher characters here, I hope this makers dont take the same route and keep it simple and realistic which they are claiming as the essence of the show.

Will try to join in the discussions regularly and thanks gor liking my post.

Yes, I enjoyed watching IPK1 for about a year and really enjoyed it...but EBP left me disgruntled...They missed the best parts of season 1, namely the character of Arnav, which was not perfect but adorable to the core...and the special connection between him and KKG...and kept all the parts that didn't quite work...like revenge marriage...and even added things like the abuse issue...making a social issue message leaving IPK 1 fans feeling cheated...While Arnav was adorable...Shlok is portrayed to be a cunning person who is a papas boy...while Khushi was sensible...Aastha is portrayed to be a person with loud mouth but little sensibility...What would be important in Paakhi...is how they manage to keep Ankhis character...and the start is definitely promising...

Regarding the topic brought up by Sudha and Arpi about what happens in the future...I think for now. Anshieboy will try his best to show the differences between him and Paakhis background and will have the subliminal agenda of driving her away by her own decision...I say... Go on try...lets see...the one thing that will actually drive Paakhi away is that if says he does not want to be with her and what he said so far was a lie...but being image conscious ...he won't say it ...and so we go on...

Tanya will play a part for sure...to draw the contrast between what he thinks he wants and who Paakhi is...

I agree on what you said 100% Sush. The main thing I love is characterizations and that seems to be strong in Tumhari Pakhi. IPK - EBP toh missed the mark by a huge margin, I still can't get my head over why the hell did the SP name a show like this IPK when the memory of the show is so fresh in our minds. Pagal hain - what else can you say.

In TP they are not overdoing anything. The characterizations are good and hopefully they will rope in a good kid for the role of Anshuman's son and this will be a sure shot winner as TRP aunties lap up these kind of stories. Waiting for today's episode.
