Shika Roy did gave money to Vijendra to pay DK. But it was a loan from the bank. The next day the bank went bankrupt. DK got the loan/bank papers of Vijendra with Shika Roy's help. It was all planned by DK. And Vijendra left no choice than to seek help from mr Mehta. DK and mr Mehta hate each other and that is why mr Mehta helped Vijendra out.

After Vijendra's death Suhaas tried to pay back and she brought mr Mehta her family jewellery. During the wedding ceremony of Rano Disha saw Suhaas taking the jewellery to mr Mehta. In the end Inder paid the sum of money to mr Mehta and beat DK and Disha to it.
I remember DIsha thinking look at Inder and look at my husband DK!
